Yu Wuhen furrowed his brows slightly whilst still unconscious.

When she noticed that Yu Wuhen’s lips were cracked, Chu Qingchuan immediately got up and walked over to the table to pour him a cup of water. Chu Qingchuan took care of him until sunset when she yawned a few times, then lay by the head of the bed and drifted off.
The moon hung high in the sky. It was deep in the night when Yu Wuhen’s eyelids moved and lowly opened his eyes which were as sharp as knives.
He wanted to sit up, but that would aggravate his wounds. No matter his threshold for pain, he tightly furrowed his brows in that moment, as it felt like someone had stabbed him in the heart. The pain was enough to make him almost faint over.
However, that same pain completely disappeared when Yu Wuhen saw Chu Qingchuan asleep by the bed. It felt like his body was floating. He felt very relaxed and couldn’t help but smile.
