Chapter 647: Arrive at Towering Palace
The headquarters of Towering Palace were set in a big city in the coastal area. Traveling was convenient there. There were a lot of martial artists who came from everywhere, and they were up to date on all news.
But recently, there were fewer people who came to Towering Palace. Even some of the foreign factions of power who previously had frequent contact with Towering Palace temporarily left the area.

Mu Clan and Chivalry Sect basically occupied half of China.

Clear Music was rather troubled. “Wind and Rain Alliance caused too much of a ruckus, and Chivalry Sect mobilized all their forces to attack Abyss Tower. They might have already received instructions and support from Happy, or else, with Lin Xiao’s personality, he would not gather his men and settle things once and for all in such a resolute manner. He knows very clearly that a large-scale confrontation will deal great damage to Chivalry Sect.”
Musical Note nodded quietly.
Chivalry Sect had always been rather restrained and gentle in their actions. Yet this time, they suddenly decided on a large-scale operation. Clearly, something had changed, and they decided to take a swift and ruthless action to end the conflict in the south.
Only Mu Clan would be able to affect Chivalry Sect’s actions. They were the only ones who could swiftly make the south calm down.

When Clear Music said those words, Musical Note was still slightly worried.

The words in the letter were very polite. She could not tell any signs of hostility or animosity.
But the words that Hai Dongqing said brought a pressure that came crashing into their faces.
“He said that he came here for the matter of the foreign organizations. After all, without any proof that Towering Palace was working together with Three Dragons Guild, Mu Clan would not gain popular support if they attacked Towering Palace.
But Happy decided to take action via Towering Palace’s ban in the coastal area, forcing them to make a decision on whether they wanted to protect Three Dragons Guild or to watch from the sidelines.
If they chose the former, they would indirectly verify everyone’s guess that Towering Palace was connected to Three Dragons Guild, thus giving Mu Clan an excuse to attack them.
If they watched from the sidelines, then Towering Palace would be slapping themselves in the face. They would be destroying their own reputation. In fact, they would give the impression that they were the type to bully the weak and fear the strong.
What caused the two women to be even more frustrated was that if Happy had asked for it in any other way, Towering Palace could choose to delay the meeting and not give an answer.
But Happy had quietly appeared outside Towering Palace’s headquarters!
If Clear Music refused to meet him and give him an answer, Happy might look for an excuse to charge in and destroy Towering Palace’s foundation.
Neither Clear Music nor Musical Note said anything for a time.
The two women finally understood why Hai Dongqing had run to them in such great panic.
