It was completely beyond Gu Yuansheng’s expectations that Shen Zhilie would say such a thing. Unable to make heads or tails of the situation, he stood rooted to the spot and was at a complete loss as to what to do.

Neither Ye Qianqian nor Fang Tongtong was there.

Shen Zhilie’s expression grew increasingly dark. Flipping through his call log, he found Fang Tongtong’s cellphone number and called her via the landline in the house.
It was switched off.
As for Ye Qianqian, her cellphone had already been switched off since before.
Shen Zhilie glanced at the time and realized that it was past 4 p.m.
Feeling slightly defeated, he sat down on the sofa without a word. His mind was in turmoil.

Shen Zhilie opened the luggage. It was indeed packed.
It was filled with clothes, and they were all his.
