"Yes. Thanks" Li Shi Ying scooped the fried rice first which was the closest to her. The girl filled her bowl and then filled Long Ao Zhen’s bowl. She knew that the man also liked fried rice. Their taste was similar after all.
"Here, have some pork" Seeing Li Shi Ying helped Long Ao Zhen, Ji Sharen felt a bit jealous. The man picked up the spicy braised pork near his place and placed it to Li Shi Ying’s bowl. His hand blocked Long Ao Zhen’s bowl making the man unable to eat even though he wanted to.
He couldn’t even pick up anything for Li Shi Ying!
"T-thanks" Li Shi Ying received the pork and was about to get herself some sweet marinated fillet fish when Long Ao Zhen beat her to it. He picked the fish part with most seasoning. "Here, eat this too," The man said with a smile as he smacked Ji Sharen’s hand away.
Once again Li Shi Ying awkwardly received it. The girl was just about to eat some of the rice when Ji Sharen’s hand suddenly appear in front of her hand as his voice rang around the table. "Xiao Li, vegetables are good for your health. Here have some. Big brother adds beef too" Ji Sharen said with a smile.
The man dumped a large pile of vegetables with beef to Li Shi Ying making not many left on the plate.
"A-ah thanks big bro" Li Shi Ying head spun around noticing that Long Ao Zhen and Ji Sharen somehow competed to feed her. She hasn’t even eaten anything but her bowl was already so full! The dish even piled up creating a small mountain until she couldn’t eat the rice before she finished the dish piling up.
Seeing the two young men fight in silent to feed their young baby, the older generation couldn’t help but laughed. The empress secretly giggled while Ji Sharen’s father immediately hit his son’s head trying to stop him.
"Shi’er pass me your bowl. I’ll fill it with the tom yam soup" The emperor suddenly spoke as he stretched his hand asking Li Shi Ying to give her the empty bowl served for soup.
The two young men who were glaring at each other because none would back down suddenly froze on the spot. They got a competitor!
"Imperial father this..." Li Shi Ying was just about to refuse when the emperor cut her words with another big smile on his face. "My child, just call me dad from now on. Calling me imperial father sounds distant. Now, quick. Your bowl"
The emperor won’t receive Li Shi Ying refusal at all. The man even glared at Long Ao Zhen secretly telling his son to snatch the bowl and pass it to him.
"Father the soup is closer to me, let me help Ying’er" Long Ao Zhen smiled stiffly as he spun the circle glass making the soup moved from in front of the emperor to in front of him. The man didn’t waste time and immediately filled Li Shi Ying’s bowl with the soup.
The emperor was so stunned seeing his son dare to rebel against him. With a foxy smile, he spun the circle glass again as he spoke. "Ah son, you are kidding. The soup isn’t anywhere near you"
Right after he said that the tom yam soup bowl moved place again back to in front of the emperor. Long Ao Zhen who was about to scoop more, scooped nothing in the end. He could only stare at another dish in front of him with a blank face.
