The previous emperor calmly fetches for a poison expert while Ji Sharen and his father secured all servants around the banquet area.
The two of them also calmed the guests who overheard what Li Shi Ying shouted before. They immediately called guards and shadow guards to come to the lake to make sure everyone was safe.

The people who saw this all became doubtful toward Li Shi Ying. Could it be she deliberately lie to gain attention and be referred to as the empress’ saviour?
The guests couldn’t help but had a similar thought. All of them began to swift their eyes to Li Shi Ying. Even the previous emperor and the empress did the same.
