1064 Chapter 1064 “Tea Ceremony“
Li Shi Ying nodded following what Long Ao Zhen told her to do. The girl obediently stood there waiting for the emperor to ask them to sit.
"My people. Tonight, there will be another event aside from the crowning of the crown princess" The emperor started his speech with a loud voice. The man scanned the guests and smiled like a proud dad. Finally, his son won’t be single anymore. He continued.
"Tonight, my one and only son will be engaged to our new princess, Princess Yi Zhe. I invite all of you to be the witness of this joyous occasion" The emperor rubbed his hand together looking like an impatient dad who couldn’t wait to send off his son to another girl.
He didn’t mind the fact that Li Shi Ying was someone from another world. There must be a way to keep her here without damaging the world after all.
"Long Ao Zhen, Li Shi Ying. Please take your seat" the emperor then continued his words. The man turned around to command the young couple to do the tea ceremony.
Hearing this, Li Shi Ying and Long Ao Zhen immediately sat down in lotus position. The man sat down on the left side of the table while Li Shi Ying sat on the right side. Both of them faced the guests.
"Pick up the tea" The emperor watched from the side as he gave a command. His voice was stern and a lot more formal than before. It made Li Shi Ying felt slightly nervous.
Long Ao Zhen picked up the tea first before Li Shi Ying followed after. The two of them only picked up the tea served by the servant. The tea was still piping hot making Li Shi Ying had to switch hand every second to avoid getting burnt.
Did they forgot a human like she is so fragile?? Unlike dragons, she can’t withstand the heat!
"My son was single for 20 years of his life. The first time he meets Li Shi Ying is when he went to the lower realm. They met by accident but that was what precisely brought these two together. "Switch your tea with mine" Using the opportunity that the guests’ attention was on the emperor, Long Ao Zhen immediately asked the girl to switch her tea with his tea. After all, he had cooled it down for her.

"I have cooled down my tea so hurry gives your tea to me. It must be too hot for you" Long Ao Zhen urged Li Shi Ying. He didn’t want to see his bunny suffered having to withstand the hot tea.
