1068 Chapter 1068 “Don“t Speak, Don“t Fight Me“
The guests didn’t really know thing such as fate since it was usually a legend or story made by humans but somehow there was a lady who knew about this. Upon seeing the red thread, she shouted.
"Red thread! The thread symbolises string of fate!"
This time the lady who knew a lot about marriage and such, suddenly squealed in joy. There was a legend saying that couple tied with red string was destined for each other and they won’t be separated by anything until death come upon them.
Hearing the girl’s words, the guests all cheered for the couple. Some felt emotional by how deep the meaning of the red thread tied by the dove is and some silently wanted their future husband to hold such a grand banquet for their engagement in the future.
"Once again, congratulation" The emperor finally spoke. He approached the couple and the gigantic doves immediately fly away. The man then looked at Li Shi Ying’s and Long Ao Zhen’s finger which was tied by a red thread. He couldn’t help but feel emotional.
"Thank you" Li Shi Ying also laughed. She actually wanted to cry because this father-in-law is just so romantic and caring but on this joyous occasion, she shouldn’t cry. Now she wondered how the marriage ceremony would be if the engagement alone was already this extravagant.
"Father, you’re the best" Long Ao Zhen raised his thumb and laughed. The man then hugged the emperor acting like an obedient son. This made the emperor and the guests watching felt touched.
"Finally he will be married off" Ji Sharen pretend to wipe his non-existence tears when he saw Long Ao Zhen hugged his father. He spoke as if Long Ao Zhen was a princess about to be sent off to another country.
"Right Ao Zhen will marry soon. Then it’s your turn" Ji Sharen’s father smirked responding to his son’s comment. Upon hearing the man’s sarcasm, Ji Sharen coughed and slowly ran away from that place.
He didn’t want to get married just yet ah! Not until he found someone he wanted to marry.
Ji Sharen’s father shook his head seeing his son was so mischievous. Now he worried for his well-being. If that rascal didn’t get a wife in less than 3 years, he would force him to marry someone he chooses.
Ji Sharen who was already far away from his father suddenly shuddered for no reason. He didn’t know what his father was thinking about but it won’t be good! Ugh, let’s take shelter to the third brother.
The young man immediately strode over to Long Ao Zhen’s place. Coincidentally Long Ao Zhen had released his father and didn’t hug him anymore.
"Yo third brother! Congrats!" Ji Sharen whistled as he hit Long Ao Zhen’s back with all his might almost making Long Ao Zhen fell to his knee on the spot.
"It hurts!!" Long Ao Zhen glared at Ji Sharen and kicked the young man out of reflex. The two of them then banter with each other so that Li Shi Ying and the emperor could only watch from the sideline with a helpless face.
"Shi’er now you’re officially Long Ao Zhen’s fiancé, please take care of him, okay?" The emperor took this chance to talk to Li Shi Ying. At the moment the empress was already escorted back to her palace since she didn’t feel well so the woman couldn’t congratulate Li Shi Ying.
Only the emperor did.
"Likewise." Li Shi Ying giggled feeling that the emperor treated Long Ao Zhen like a troublesome fellow or something. The girl was about to say something again when the red thread on her pinky tugged her body out of the blue leaving the emperor alone with a wide mouth dumbfounded.

"Ah!" Long Ao Zhen was about to punch Ji Sharen but he forgot about the red thread. It somehow pulled Li Shi Ying to him limiting his action.
"Oh God looks, now you involve little sister" Ji Sharen shook his head when he saw Li Shi Ying bumped onto Long Ao Zhen’s embrace thanks to the red thread. The thread was super strong not to break even after being tugged like that!
"What are you two doing??" Li Shi Ying immediately scolded Long Ao Zhen and Ji Sharen. The girl was so angry that her face turned red. Her pinky hurts okay?!
"Sorry, sorry" Seeing how his little bunny was about to explode, Long Ao Zhen immediately cut the thread using his divine energy. The man didn’t untie the thread instead since it would take a long time to do.
But Ji Sharen who saw this, couldn’t help but frown. "Brother, how could you cut your own fate string?" The man didn’t understand that the thread was just a symbol. He took it to be real.
"What? This is just a symbol you know, it doesn’t mean the real string is being cut!" Long Ao Zhen refuted. He hurriedly tries to explain to Ji Sharen so that Li Shi Ying won’t get it wrong.

"Ohhh I see sorry sorry" Ji Sharen laughed while apologising. He patted Long Ao Zhen’s back making Li Shi Ying giggled silently. These two are really close huh?
The girl was just about to join the two men in their own world when someone suddenly appeared behind her and a few guests screamed out of shock.
