1128 Chapter 1128 “Other Worldly Dish“
The soup filled Li Shi Ying mouth with a warm feeling and even when she swallowed it, the warmth followed to her throat down to her stomach.
"So warm~" Li Shi Ying subconsciously smiled after she tasted the first spoon of the soup. It was so good that she couldn’t help but want more.
"Right? If you want more don’t hesitate to ask again, okay? We still have plenty" Long Ao Zhen chuckled once more seeing his bunny enjoyed the food. Somehow the food tasted better while watching his bunny smile instead of watching the surrounding scene.
"Mn!" Li Shi Ying nodded happily before she took another spoonful of soup. Once, twice, thrice, until the soup was completely gone. Since the bowl wasn’t big in the first place, Li Shi Ying finished off the soup in no time.
"Wahhh that was good" Li Shi Ying rubbed her tummy as she licked her wet lips. The girl felt satisfied with just the first dish. Can’t wait to eat the rest of the dishes.
"Okay, next dish then?" Long Ao Zhen also had finished his soup and was now waiting for the second dish to arrive. He was waiting to see Li Shi Ying’s reaction when she saw the dish.
"Sure!" Li Shi Ying nodded happily as she held the spoon. Seeing the spoon, somehow she kinda missed eating steak with a knife and a fork. Sadly all food utensil provided in this world was either a ceramic spoon or chopsticks.
Just when Li Shi Ying thought so, Mao Mao came with a plate of sizzling meat. The plate was made of stone and it was still hot with a wooden plank underneath it. It really...was similar to a hot plate used to serve steak in her old world.
"Enjoy, mistress" Mao Mao put the plate in front of Li Shi Ying before he took away the empty bowl. He then left the table right when Baihu Sei came to serve Long Ao Zhen the second dish.
Seeing the dish in front of her eyes, Li Shi Ying had to blink several times before rubbing both of her eyes trying to make sure that the dish she saw was real.
"Is this...steak?" Li Shi Ying asked in a stunned face. She also saw a familiar small knife used for eating steak, plus the fork. All of them are made of metal.
This is... a knife! Steak knife meant to eat and not to kill or to cook. Also...a fork. These things...once again Long Ao Zhen made it?
"Yep. My grandpa said that bringing your girlfriend to eat steak on a date is a must, in your world. That applies to rich people and as I consider myself as rich..." Long Ao Zhen grinned while explaining why he got Li Shi Ying a plate of steak. He even imitated the hot plate used to keep the steak warm.
"You..." Li Shi Ying couldn’t help but laugh hearing Long Ao Zhen’s explanation. That grandpa...he is so mischevious. How the hell he told Long Ao Zhen that a rich man had to get his girlfriend steak on a date?
That’s nonsense! Indeed usually in the elegant or expensive date, the dish served was a steak but that doesn’t mean all expensive date had to serve steak.
This thought made Li Shi Ying unable to stop laughing. She was just thinking of having steak and this man granted it for her. Could they have some kind of telepathy?

Even though a steak was still meat but it got a different taste from the usual dish using chopped chicken meat or beef.
This steak had a thick cut yet it wasn’t hard to chew on. It was tender and it got juice inside, added with the light seasoning, it was perfect. Not to mention the steak was still hot, an excellent dish to be eaten in winter.
This one...is a good dish too! Applause for Jiu Wei the chef, he managed to make something which doesn’t exist in this world.
