"Thanks..." Li Shi Ying murmured softly. She kinda wanted to laugh though seeing Xi Xue and Ge Lifen were all scared to two different people while the rest just acted like usual.
These people are the one who accompanied her through her journey. How could they not be important for her?
"Milady..." Baihu Sei whispered faintly as she took Li Shi Ying’s hand and gripped it. The girl is outside the boat but since she is so close to the boat itself, she could do so and Long Ao Zhen allowed her.
"Sei, I don’t know you have singing talent. Your voice is really good" Li Shi Ying noticed Baihu Sei and immediately praised her. The girl was looking at Baihu Sei with teary eyes as if feeling regretful she didn’t discover her talent sooner.
"Ah milady, you flatter me! I’m still new in this..." Baihu Sei laughed as she patted Li Shi Ying’s hand. She felt super happy that her master recognized her. Ahhh what a blessing!
"Mn. Keep practising okay" Li Shi Ying waved her hand encouraging Baihu Sei before the girl backed off since it’s Mao Mao turn to come to the boat. The boy had a calm attitude even when the others are being noisy, truly making him stood up from the rest.
"Mistress..." Mao Mao didn’t get too close to the boat and only stared at Li Shi Ying with affection clearly shown in his eyes. He always regarded Li Shi Ying as his family. His race was just like a dragon race, small in number and he didn’t know where his parents are now.
So when he first met Li Shi Ying even though he treated her as food back then, later he felt comfortable around her. Only then he knew that this was what having a family felt like.
Yet as Li Shi Ying’s strength grew stronger, she slowly forgot him. Maybe she didn’t but he couldn’t just come out as he wishes because of his large body.
Mao Mao smiled at Li Shi Ying before he lowered his head, seemingly bowing to her. He was thanking the girl without words. Just using her action.
"Mao Mao..." Li Shi Ying couldn’t hold back her tears anymore. She cried again as she stretched her hand, waiting for Mao Mao to come to her embrace. He is a boy after all so Long Ao Zhen surely would let him off the hook.
"Mistress!" Mao Mao was also stunned when Li Shi Ying stretched her hands. He slowly approached her and entered the boat. The boy then hugged Li Shi Ying with his height only reaching her tummy.
