1267 Chapter 5 Mao Mao love story
"M-master...the tea..." Fen Wén whispered softly as her eyes darted around, afraid to see Mao Mao’s reaction upon drinking the tea she made.
The girl fidgeted nervously waiting for Mao Mao to drink. She would occasionally glance up just to see if Mao Mao already took the cup and at one point, her eyes coincidentally saw Mao Mao took the cup without looking at it.
He still focused on his work as he brought the cup closer to his lips. The steam rising up from the tea hit Mao Mao’s nose sending a pleasant aroma, instantly relaxing his mind.
"It smells good, " Mao Mao complimented. The young man then carefully took a sip while closing his eyes. He gulped the hot tea and instantly, his body felt warm inside. He didn’t know why but this feeling wasn’t bad. It erased his fatigue from working all-day.
"Good tea, " Mao Mao nodded as he continued to sip the tea. Right now, the young man already paused to enjoy the tea for a moment and after finishing it, he carefully put down the cup.
Looking at the girl, Mao Mao smiled while saying, "Good work, I like the tea. Make it often, " Mao Mao glanced back at the papers on the table, "Thank you, you can rest now, " he cut the conversation and went back to work.
He had so many things to deal as Long Ao Zhen was still a new emperor. He hasn’t stabilized his reign yet.
Seeing Mao Mao already went back to work so fast, Fen Wén felt a bit down. She was originally happy that the young man praised her but now...he said she could rest...
’Am I am being chased out again?’
Fen Wén shook her head and refused to just take a rest like what Mao Mao said. She decided to sit down on a chair far away from Mao Mao’s place and waited for 2 hours or more.
She was waiting for the right timing and luckily, the time came. Mao Mao suddenly stopped his work to hit his stiff shoulder. The man loosened his shoulders trying to reduce the stiffness when Feb Wén suddenly ran toward him.
The girl stopped right in front of Mao Mao, startling him for a second. The young man had just about to ask what’s wrong when Fen Wén cut him off, "Uh...master, can I...massage your shoulder?" Fen Wén stared at Mao Mao’s shoulder thinking that it must be stiff.
Mao Mao had been working for 3 hours or more, not moving at all. His shoulder should be stiff and uncomfortable. This was where she could offer her service!
Mao Mao was dumbfounded hearing what Fen Wén said. The young man tilted his head and paused for a bit, thinking hard whether to let her massage his shoulder or not as...
He was never in a close distance with a young girl of his age. He was always surrounded by older women, mature and already got a family. This was the first time he was accompanied by a young girl.
Moreover, they were alone in this room.
Mao Mao thought it over and had just about to refuse when Fen Wén lowered her head, looking as if she was about to cry. This stung Mao Mao’s heart. Unable to see a girl cried, Mao Mao let out a big sigh.
"Fine, only for 10 minutes and after that, you can go, " Mao Mao crooked his finger calling Fen Wén to come closer, "Only come back when it’s lunch or dinner time, okay?" Mao Mao negotiated.
Actually, he couldn’t focus when this girl was around. He’s not used to having a girl to accompany him when he was working!
Fen Wén didn’t hesitate and immediately agreed. Like a chicken pecking its food, Fen Wén hastily accepted Mao Mao’s suggestion. She then hurriedly approached the young man and stood behind him.
With a bashful face, Fen Wén spoke, "M-master I will start now..." her voice was so soft and gentle sounding right next to Mao Mao’s ear once again making him flinched.
The young man endured this awkward feeling and nodded, allowing Fen Wén to start. With the nod, the girl immediately grabbed Mao Mao’s shoulder using her tiny yet strong palm.
Fen Wén then started to press Mao Mao’s shoulder giving him a simple massage to loosen his stiff shoulder. She kneaded the young man’s shoulder very carefully afraid that her strength would harm Mao Mao.
She was a dragon so she would naturally be stronger than Mao Mao in term of strength.
A few seconds pass by and Fen Wén would occasionally hear Mao Mao groaned. He squeezed his eyes and leaned to the chair, looking relaxed.
"Is the strength I used too strong?" Fen Wén asked worriedly. She heard Mao Mao groaned softly again for the n-th time already. What if she broke Mao Mao’s bone?
"Mmmm...no...it is good..." Mao Mao answered in a hoarse voice. His face was bright red as the man clenched his fist tight.
’This is bad. I can feel her breath hitting the back of my neck!’
Mao Mao shut his eyes tight wanting to focus on other things but all he could feel was Fen Wén’s presence. At this distance, he could hear her steady breathing along with her heartbeat.
Her hands on his shoulder als9 kept moving here and there giving a sense of comfort. He felt so relaxed yet tense at the same time.
’Why the hell...I suddenly feel nervous?’
Mao Mao gulped feeling his throat went dry. The smell of the girl’s sweet perfume slowly assaulted his nose getting on his nerve.
’Ahhhh this..is dangerous!!’
