1278 Chapter 15 Mao Mao Love Story
The two of them, Mao Mao and Fen Wén didn’t talk to each other until they arrived at the festival. It was 9 a.m yet the festival was already crowded with people.
On the left and right side, one could see rows of stalls selling foods, toys, game and such.
"Wahhhh so lively!" Fen Wén gasped in excitement. The girl shut her eyes as she sniffed the smell of food being sold everywhere at the festival.

The girl dragged Mao Mao along for two minutes before stopping in front of a roasted squid stall. With sparkling eyes, she looked at Mao Mao and shamelessly asked, "Master, I wanna eat this one!"
She didn’t realize that her hand was still grabbing onto Mao Mao’s wrist. The young man himself wanted to tell Fen Wén but seeing her focus was on foods...
He could only weakly nod, "Sure, go buy as much as you want." Mao Mao smiled helplessly. He didn’t think that Fen Wén was a glutton just like his mistress, Li Shi Ying.
Getting affirmation, Fen Wén immediately ordered a few roasted squids for herself and for Mao Mao. Of course, her hand was still holding Mao Mao’s wrist until the squid seller teasingly spoke,
"Pretty lady, you come here with your boyfriend, huh? How nice ah, " the tanned skin seller laughed as he prepared the roasted squid Fen Wén ordered.
Fen Wén’s happy smile disappeared replaced by a red face as red as the spicy roasted squid the seller was cooking. Steam raised from her head and the girl strongly denied, "N-no! He’s not my boyfriend-"
Her words were interrupted by the seller, "But you’re holding his hand? Aish young lady don’t deny your boyfriend ah, he looks sad, right boy?" The seller laughed as he fanned the roasted squid, not knowing that the one he teased was the prime minister.
Hearing this, Fen Wén was startled beyond relief. She abruptly looked down and saw her hand was indeed gripping Mao Mao’s wrist. The girl suddenly got a heart attack as she froze stiff, not knowing what to do.
"Fen Wén?" Mao Mao worriedly asked but the girl didn’t move, she just stared at their intertwined hands. Her shoulder trembled and after a few seconds passed, she abruptly released her hand.
"I-I’m so sorry! I...I...didn’t realize..." Fen Wén stuttered as she lowered her head, refusing to look at Mao Mao. Really, she was so ashamed that she wanted to dig a hole and hide in it.
How could she grabbed Mao Mao’s hand and dragged him all the way here?!
Fen Wén felt like crying. She bit her lips hard about to cry when Mao Mao just let out a soft chuckle. He didn’t know what possessed him but the young man suddenly stroked Fen Wén’s head and said,
"It’s okay, actually, I’m thankful that you bring me out of the crowd, " Mao Mao patted Fen Wén’s head with a soft smile on his face.
Fen Wén instantly felt her head was burning as the area where Mao Mao patted her, felt itchy all of sudden. Somehow her heart started to beat fast feeling the warmth of Mao Mao’s hand.
BA-THUMP. BA-THUMP.
’Ahhhh Mao Mao is smiling! Oh my God, his smile is so gentle and godly!’ Fen Wén squealed in her heart feeling like she was seeing God.
The girl blushed hard while the ignorant Mao Mao just innocently smiled at the girl. Somehow an ambiguous atmosphere floated around them making the squid seller feeling somewhat embarrassed.
With an awkward cough, he hurriedly notified the two youngsters who were immersed in their own world, "Young lady, your order is ready."
He plastered a stiff smile as he handed several spicy roasted squid being secured on a small wooden stick. He felt awkward just being seeing these two actings like this.
These two, if they wanted to act lovey-dovey just go somewhere else!
Fen Wén who was immersed in Mao Mao’s smile immediately snapped out. Showing an apologetic smile, she hurriedly accepted the squid, "T-thank you uncle!" The girl held the squids tightly as if not wanting to lose it.
Seeing this, Mao Mao once again chuckled as he paid the seller for the squid. His eyes subconsciously followed Fen Wén in her every action.
’She is so cute’ Mao Mao silently thought seeing Fen Wén had started to nibble on the squid.
