1290 Chapter 27 Mao Mao Love Story
The thought that Mao Mao might know she faked her illness made Fen Wén almost peed her pants.
The girl trembled in both fear and embarrassment. Mao Mao, who saw this, couldn’t help but ask out of concern, "Fen Wén? Why are you trembling?"

The young man slowly draped the coat over Fen Wén’s shoulder, "You have to take care of yourself. It’s quite cold lately, " Mao Mao said so as he leaned closer to Fen Wén so he could tie the straps.
The smell of mint immediately assaulted Fen Wén’s nose and the sight of Mao Mao’s head filled her eyes.
The young man was looking down at the straps on the coat not knowing that he was quite close to Fen Wén at this moment.
His long, slender fingers were busy trying to tie the straps to tighten it so it won’t be loose. The young man was really oblivious to the fact that Fen Wén’s face already turned super red.
The girl’s body turned into stone and she almost peed her pants for real this time. Her heart felt like it’s about to pop out.
’Too close!! Ah ah!!’ Fen Wén screamed in her heart as she looked up at the ceiling. She couldn’t even stare at the top of Mao Mao’s head as it just looked so cute!
The oblivious Mao Mao focused on tying the straps and when he was done, he immediately stepped back very naturally. With a sweet smile on his face, he said, "Done! Now you won’t be cold anymore."
He spoke just like a child waiting to be praised for their good deed. His childish yet cute behaviour sent an arrow straight to Fen Wén’s fragile heart.
She almost got a nosebleed right away.
"Y-yes t-thank you, " Fen Wén nodded stiffly as she kept rubbing her red ear. The girl really couldn’t look at Mao Mao thus she just stared at his chest or something.
Of course, Mao Mao didn’t see anything wrong. Having achieved what he wanted, the young man swiftly went back to his working desk.
"I’ll be working so if you want to rest you can go, " Mao Mao sat down as he looked at Fen Wén, "But if you want to stay, it’s also okay, " he hurriedly added as to not give any other misunderstanding between them.
Fen Wén who felt like she needed fresh air to calm down, chose to leave. The girl bowed politely to Mao Mao before slowly leaving the room.
Mao Mao didn’t see anything wrong with it thus he just resumed his work.

"...hhhhhh..." Fen Wén exhaled as she covered her red face with her palms. Ever since she realized that she had a romantic feeling for Mao Mao, she couldn’t stay calm in front of the guy.

The girl was just thinking like that when the maidservants around her suddenly gathered. The girls looked at Fen Wén with sparkling eyes as one of them squealed,
"Fen Wén!! Isn’t this Lord Mao’s coat??" The girl poked at the black coat Fen Wén wore. She gawked at it as if the coat was a national treasure.
Slightly dazed, Fen Wén innocently nodded, "Yeah...what’s wrong with that?" The girl tilted her head in confusion.
She couldn’t understand why the girls acted like this. Of course, she could be like that since she was already quite close to Mao Mao.
Hearing Fen Wén’s words, the girls screamed again in excitement.
"Ahhhh so lucky!!"
"That’s Lord Mao’s favourite coat you know?!"
