136 Chapter 137 “Assassination!“

The time when human mostly were in a deep sleep thus lowering their guard by 50% at least.
Meng Yue Ming use this chance to quickly sneak to the inn. She went to the second floor without making a single noise at all. Her steps were silent like a cat. Her body movement was very agile making it easier to hunt for her prey.
The night was silent and dark. A certain agile figure flashed through several room very fast. You couldn’t even see the figure shadow. Only the passing wind could be felt.
The figure wore a completely black clothes from her head to her toes, perfectly blending into the dark night. The darkness couldn’t hinder the figure movement. It only strengthen her ability instead.
Meng Yue Ming, the agile figure moving in the dark night finally arrived in front of Li Shi Ying room in less than a second. Her speed was truly fast for a human, she might could rival the silver wolf who was known to be the fastest beast in Grave forest!
Meng Yue Ming put her hand on the door handle and push it open.

The door didn’t budge. It was locked!
The door to Li Shi Ying room was indeed locked from inside. Li Shi Ying was cautious afterall so she did made some preparation. She always made extra protection to ensure her peaceful sleeping time wouldn’t be disturbed by some random intruder.
Jiu Wei couldn’t sleep in Li Shi Ying room so Shi Ying had to locked the door for her safety. A pity she face a certain expert in breaking a lock.
Meng Yue Ming smirked mockingly seeing the locked door. For her, a simple lock like this was nothing compared to the lock in her ultra modern world!
It was an insult to her ability comparing this run-down lock with the lock in her previous world.
With a twist and turn, Meng Yue Ming successfully broke the lock without creating noises. She did it silently! You couldn’t even hear the sound of the broken lock like a ’click’ sound or something else.
Meng Yue Ming then opened the wooden door slowly. Very slowly as to not make a single ’crieekkk’ sound. She was patient when doing her job because patience was important for an assassin like her.
She could even wait for a few hours unmoving watching her target just so she could execute her plan perfectly leaving nothing behind.
Inside Li Shi Ying room.
Li Shi Ying was sleeping in peace as her back was against the door. She was hugging the pink panther kitten form in her arm while being buried inside a thick blanket. She felt extremely cold as she also wore the white deer cloak on her body.
Li Shi Ying left the golden eagle near the window to be a night guard while placing the silver wolf near her bed. She also put the golden tiger under her leg just for another extra defense.
As for other beasts including the one in Jiu Wei room, she let them stay in their tools form.
Meng Yue Ming quickly step into the room as soon as her body could pass through the door. She didn’t bother closing the door as it would just waste her time.
The room was dark but Meng Yue Ming had a good eyes. She could see quite clearly in the dark. Unfortunately, she didn’t notice a sleeping wolf near Li Shi Ying bed as the wolf curled itself making him looks like a simple grey mat.
The wolf also sleep on the other side of the bed so she didn’t notice anything wrong.
The wolf in fact had already woke up the moment Meng Yue Ming step into the room. His ear twitched slowly and stood up in place to hear the sound of the intruder better.
He could hear a faint breath and a foreign smell inside Li Shi Ying room. An intruder!
The wolf eyes flashed with a mysterious light. He didn’t bother exposing himself and decide to continue pretending to be asleep.
The golden tiger on the bed, was also already awake when he sense someone near the bed. He could tell from the aura that this person wasn’t Jiu Wei. It could only means....a stranger!
The golden tiger body was huge so Meng Yue Ming should see it right away but the golden tiger cleverly snuggle inside the blanket to cover his big body under it. His head was facing Meng Yue Ming and he was ready to pounce to his target anytime he want.
Meng Yue Ming who was oblivious to the two guardian beasts, arrived beside Li Shi Ying bed. She couldn’t see Li Shi Ying face as she sleep facing the window exposing only her back.
Meng Yue Ming eyes narrowed like an eagle as she put out a knife from her pocket. It would be super easy to kill Li Shi Ying if Meng Yue Ming had a gun, fortunately she didn’t have it otherwise Li Shi Ying would be dead the moment Meng Yue Ming step into the room.
With a fast movement, Meng Yue Ming thrust her knife to Li Shi Ying defenseless neck.
