A flicker of candle light shone upon a small dark room inside a certain inn
An old man was sitting behind a table, writing something when he heard noises from the window.

The old man stood up and opened the window only to saw a letter was dropped there. He saw that a beast had just flew away from the window to the dark night sky.
The old man flipped the letter. It was sent from Fan Family, written by Fan Family Head. It should be an important news then.
The man opened the letter and when he saw the first sentence of the letter....he was angered and startled at the same time.

"Fen died?? Who! Who dare to kill my bestfriend?!" a hoarse voice of the old man sounded throughout the small room. The old man was asking for an answer to anybody who could answer it but sadly no one could.
The one that had just delivering the letter was the beast owned by Fan family head. The beast just dropped a letter to that place so even when the old man shouted and asked, the beast who had flew away a few minutes before, couldn’t answer his question.
The table the old man had in the room was broken into pieces. The old man was too shocked to read the letter but after he calmed his heart he began to read the rest of the letter.
The old man read the letter to the end and burnt the letter afterward. The first sentence said that his bestfriend had died killed by someone and the rest of the letter told him about the killer identity and where he lived.
The old man was depressed. This was his saviour, the one who helped him when he was being chased after the bastard from middle realm.
He felt indebted to this old friend of him. He had arrived at this city a long time ago but he didn’t have time to go visit this friend as he had to teach and accompay his new talented disciple.
He just wanted to met this friend tomorrow morning while bragging about his one and only new disciple he just found....but...who would have known that his friend would died within a day?
The old man was enveloped in deep sorrow and anger at the same time. He was too focused on the bad news that he didn’t realize someone was walking toward his room.

Suddenly someone opened the door of the small room, startling the old man.
"Master what’s going on? You are so loud you know?" a delicate voice of a young lady could be heard inside the silent dim room.
"Ahh it’s you Ming’er you startled me. It’s...bad news." The old man face brightened a little when he saw it was his one and only disciple.
"Hm? what bad news?" The girl looked at the broken table and shook her head. She just finished cultivating and breakthrough to the disciple stage when she heard loud noises from her master room.
It must be a really bad news if master broke a table just like this.
"Yeah my bestfriend was killed and so...yea...." The old man sighed as he approached his dear disciple. He was very proud to have this disciple. He was feeling bad tonight but when he realized that his disciple had broke through and became disciple stage, he was feeling a little bit better.
"You had a breakthrough? Previously when i meet you, you are still in apprentice stage 2 stars level now...look at you, already disciple stage when you’re only 15 years old! Good job!" The old man eyes shone with sparkle as he stroke the girl hair.

"Hmm the one who killed my bestfriend is a bodyguard named Chen, he is guarding a 15 years old girl named Li Shi Ying and is currently living outside the capital. This Chen guy is proven to be so powerful compared to people in this country. This is the only information i have" The old man sighed again after his disciple mentioned the news.
