This was also the first time Li Shi Ying saw Chen in this appearance. When Chen’s skin was white he gave a different vibe of handsomeness compared to when his skin was slightly tanned.
If Chen with the slightly dark skin was kinda cool yet sexy, then Chen with white skin looked gentle yet mysterious. Added with that ponytail hairstyle...he looked absolutely gorgeous!

Li Shi Ying quickly averted her eyes from Chen gorgeous appearance as her face already began to turn red. This is bad, she shouldn’t get enchanted by Chen’s face. A big NO NO!
"Are you ready miss?" Chen walked slowly to Li Shi Yings place after he was finished with his disguise. With this, both of them would look exactly like the local people.
"Y-yeah, I gotta wear my veil first" Li Shi Ying lowered her head and pretended to be busy wearing her veil.
Don’t peek at him! She would have nosebleed if she did.

Jiu Wei and Di Yu had come back to Li Shi Yings contracted space leaving her with only Chen and the camouflaged horse.
Well, the other divine beasts she wore as accessories were with her too in case she encountered danger but, all of them were in the form of tools at present.
So basically...it was just her and Chen, riding on the same horse.

"Miss, please wear your coat, the temperature at the mountain is quite cold." Chen, while managing the horse’s rein, didn’t forget to remind Li Shi Ying as they were already close to the foot of the mountain.
"Hm...okay..." Li Shi Ying lazily summoned the white mammoth in its tools form and wore it on her body. This fur coat was heavy but she didnt mind it since the temperature would get colder later.
From their distance, as they came closer to Youdu Mountain, they could already see faint mist surrounding it. Jiu Wei had mentioned that the amount of toxic mist won’t kill you as, usually, the mist is a lot thicker than now.
Well, you would only feel a bit dizzy after passing through it, only for a moment though.
"That’s the local guard" Chen pointed his finger to the row of the guard at the entrance of the mountain. This mountain only has one entrance which was safe, the other entrances are all super dangerous.
The guard was there to check whether there were any foreigners trying to infiltrate Youdu Mountain. That mountain is off limit for foreigners anyway.
"Stop!" When Li Shi Ying and Chen had arrived at the entrance, the guard stopped them to check their identity.

The camouflage horse stopped with Chen’s command as the guard began to check them.
The girl, had her hair braided like most of the local girls did. Then the man....he looks exactly like a local...overall, they looked like locals but the girl....wore a veil that made her seem quite suspicious.
"Hey you! Take off your veil!" One of the guards said, still suspicious of Li Shi Ying as she was wearing a veil. It couldn’t be helped since normally no one in the country wore a veil.
Li Shi Ying looked at Chen before he slowly took off her veil, "Is this alright?" With a sweet smile, Li Shi Ying, who had become more and more beautiful these days managed to stupefy the guard.
"Y-yes it’s alright" The guards face turned red as the other guards secretly took a glance at Li Shi Ying. She wasn’t a top beauty but, a beauty was still a beauty.
Li Shi Ying who was ignorant of the eyes of the men on her, casually put back her veil and was about to ask Chen to go when Chen suddenly pulled at her waist and hugged her from behind.
??!! Chen?! What is he doing??
Chen hugged Li Shi Ying intimately as he glared at the guards, harrumphed arrogantly before marching toward the mountain with the camouflage horse.
"Oy Chen! Let me go." Li Shi Ying didn’t have time to analyze her surrounding as Chen’s hand on her waist really bothered her.
"...mn...next time don’t take off your veil miss" Chen slowly released his hand and felt taken aback.
Why did he do that? He didn’t know for sure but, when he saw the other men look at Li Shi Ying like that...his body moved on its own.
Is this an instinct to protect his little sister?
Li Shi Ying sighed as she began to look at her surroundings. It was like what Jiu Wei said before. This forest was covered with a thin mist.
The mist came in many colors and what made her feel strange was that this mountain was so colorful. Too colourful even.
There were rainbow mushrooms, trees that weren’t green but yellow, blue, red, pink...even the soil there wasn’t brown in color.
She felt as if she was in a wonderland. Where’s the mad hater and Alice?
Just when Li Shi Ying was observing her surroundings, she and Chen suddenly heard a woman’s scream not far from their place, along with strange creatures suddenly popping out from the ground.
