45 Chapter 46 “Middle Realm“

existence of another realm apart from lower and upper realm.

But people in middle realm thought lower realm was a worthless place. Well they still did took some treasure which only lower realm had sometimes but people of middle realm rarely be involved with people in lower realm.
For another comparison, in lower realm taming a low ranked spiritual beast and made a contract with it was considered very very good. Even a rich noble child could only had a low ranked spiritual beast as their contracted beast. Only someone like royalty or famous sect had a high ranked beast as contracted beast.
But, in middle realm almost everyone had middle ranked spiritual beast as a contracted beast. Usually rich people and influental people had a divine beast as their contracted beast and a royalty or someone from a well known sect would have a sacred beast as their contracted beast.
What a great difference!! Because of that Li Shi Ying who already plan to swindle few divine beasts and sacred beast, really didn’t dare to mess with someone from middle realm.
Well if you had more than 1 sacred beast and more than 10 divine beasts maybe you could stroll around as you wish in middle realm (on account that you are a cripple who really had no cultivation energy).
Usually people either in lower realm or middle realm only contracted 1 spiritual beasts. Unless they are a powerful figure who could contract more than 5 spiritual beasts, no one would waste their money to buy more than 1 spiritual beast.
Every spiritual beast who made contract with human must absolutely be tamed first by the beast tamer because such contract could only be made when the spiritual beast accepted the contract.
But such a proud beast wouldn’t want to bow their head and become a human’s servant. This is why a beast tamer was a precious job.
Beast tamer would use their strange technique to made those spiritual beasts became docile and obedient. Until those beasts agreed to make a contract with human.
So in another word, a beast tamer job is to made spiritual beasts docile and obedient.
In lower realm, beast tamer was rare. Only 1 out of 100 people in lower realm was a beast tamer. But in middle realm, 1 out of 10 was a beast tamer.
Want another comparison? Fine. In lower realm, a pharmacist was 1 out of 10 people. In middle realm, every kid was taught pharmacy. So every single person in middle realm was a pharmacist. It was a normal job there.
In lower realm, alchemist was considered even more rare than beast tamer and pharmacist which was only 1 out of 1000. In middle realm, 1 out of 100 people was an alchemist.
The only job which was considered extremely rare both in lower realm and middle realm was a translator. A translator....in lower realm there were only 7 people up until today.
In middle realm there were only 10 translators. Whereas in higher realm....there wasn’t any.
