530 Chapter 530 “Suspicious“

The inn seemed like an old one, but still looked good. It was like a typical ancient chinese inn with wooden flooring and shabby walls.
"Is this really where we will sleep?" Jiao Cong Ming couldn’t help but whisper to Li Shi Ying when he saw how shabby the inn looked. Even though the inn was very huge and could afford all of the participants of this year’s tournament, the inn itself still looked shabby!
The floor was dirty, and the wall was filled with cracks here and there. Even the roof seemed like it couldn’t properly protect them from the rain.

The guy smiled as he gave Li Shi Ying 7 badges with Dong Xi Academy’s symbol there. Li Shi Ying herself accepted the badges without realizing that the guy gave the badges to her, and not to Long Ao Zhen.
It means this guy knew that Li Shi Ying was the leader of the group, even though the girl didn’t look like it!
Seeing this, only Long Ao Zhen realized, and couldn’t help but frown. He heard from the principal that the staff holding the tournament won’t know the detailed background of each participant. They also won’t know which is the leader of the group.
So how come this guy could guess that the leader is Li Shi Ying and not him? Usually, people would mistake him as the leader, since his bunny didn’t have the image of a leader.
"Alright, thank you, are there any other instructions?" Li Shi Ying gave the badges to everyone, and before she let the others enter the room, she asked the guy for the last time.
There must be another instruction related to the tournament, right?
"Oh right, there is. You guys are allowed to go out to play, but please come back before 9 p.m since we will have a long journey tomorrow. Also, if you guys don’t like this inn, you guys can sleep in another inn. Just don’t be late for the tournament tomorrow."
The guy bowed politely before he walked away, leaving Li Shi Ying’s group in their room.
"Are we seriously going to sleep here??" Hearing that they could change inns, Jiao Cong Ming immediately suggested for them to change inns. It’s not like they’re poor and couldn’t afford a better inn.
Even Feng Wang Zi agreed with Jiao Cong Ming. That guy earlier told us that they could change inns as long as they wouldn’t be late for tomorrow’s tournament. Since the tournament would be held in this town anyway, changing inns wouldn’t be a problem.

By now, all her team members already considered her as the team leader, even though Feng Wang Zi still didn’t want to be ordered around, he knew Li Shi Ying had a good point in saying all of these things, so he only silently obeyed.
