783 Chapter 783 “Relative?“
Li Shi Ying and Di Yu instantly felt a huge pressure coming down to suppress them just by hearing the cold voice. Their bodies felt heavy as if a huge mountain was dropped on their shoulders and they might be crushed to death by the aura alone if not for Long Ao Zhen’s help.
"Yeah we are strong, so what?" Long Ao Zhen squinted his eyes and shouted in a loud voice when he saw that Li Shi Ying was affected by the sphinx aura. The man quickly helped Li Shi Ying and Di Yu by lifting the aura using his own dragon aura.
How dare this beast use their aura to hurts his little bunny? Let him show this puny little lion who is the boss here.
The sphinx wasn’t an idiot. The moment Long Ao Zhen used his aura, she noticed right away that it was a mythological beast aura, even though she wasn’t affected by it.
"So arrogant for human. Wait...a dragon? With human girl and...huh? Interesting" The sphinx scanned Long Ao Zhen, Li Shi Ying and when her eyes landed on Di Yu, she stopped for a moment. One could see a startled expression on her face even if only for a brief second.
"Can you let us go now?" Seeing the sphinx stop talking and only stared at him, Di Yu quickly raised his head arrogantly while asking whether they could go now or not. Anyway if they stayed...they needed to fight and that won’t be a good thing.
"Why in hurry to leave? Now tell me the boy right there are you a hellhound...a Cerberus?" The sphinx laughed sending a gust of strong wind toward the three. The huge creature then lowered her body and laid on the sand while asking Di Yu out of sudden.
Her previously cold voice slowly turned warmer and the pressuring aura earlier had gone. Even the sand storm slowly disappeared leaving Di Yu and the others dumbfounded not knowing what happened.
Is this sphinx bipolar? What happened, ah?! She was so mad earlier and now she suddenly calmed down and even sat down to talk to them? This must be a joke!
"Y-yeah I’m a Cerberus...three-headed hell dog, a hellhound but so what? How do you know that I’m a Cerberus anyway?" Di Yu nodded his head, but he still stared at the sphinx with cautious eyes.
Hearing Di Yu answer, the sphinx only laughed, making the ground shook once more. Her laughter actually wasn’t that scary, but they didn’t know how the whole land suddenly became brighter than before just because of the sphinx’s laughter.
"Boy of course I know. Do you know that we are actually a relative? According to the legend I’m one of your relatives, ah," the sphinx giggled showing a sweet smile on her human face, successfully making the three of them stunned on the spot.
So pretty! They didn’t notice this sphinx face before, because of her huge body but now they looked closer...she fit the description of Egyptian beauty. Her tanned skin matched her lion body pretty well. Big black eyes staring at them like a black hole...
This sphinx would be a peerless beauty in her human form! Wait this isn’t the time to see her beauty. Just what did she say before? She and Di Yu...was a relative??
"...wait, what?!" Di Yu was so startled that he almost stood up and pointed his finger at the sphinx. This isn’t funny! He and this sphinx are related? How the hell? He never knew anything about this!
