"Ready?" Li Shi Ying asked the group after they are dinner and dressed up. They were going to see the scenery Jiu Wei mentioned before the road whatsoever before going to the lost soul forest. That’s why they gotta depart earlier than planned.
"Ready!" Baihu Sei answered with a wide smile on her face. She already told her brother that she was picked by the ’young master’ to serve ’him’ so she couldn’t be married away.
She thought that her brother would surely dislike this idea but he was excited knowing that she could serve a dragon. That was nobler than marrying another sacred beast to maintain peace.
Having the ruler’s sister to be a personal maidservant of a young dragon was something to be proud of. The people won’t dare to threaten his position as the ruler again if they knew about this.
Recalling what her brother said, Baihu Sei looked at Li Shi Ying with teary eyes. She could be in this position thanks to Li Shi Ying kindness. Now she had to work hard to please her master so she won’t abandon her!

"Ah" Li Shi Ying grabbed Long Ao Zhen’s collar afraid of falling but the man catches her pretty well. His calming smell immediately assaults her nose when they were in such a close distance.
Long Ao Zhen didn’t scold Jiu Wei for his doing since he could hug his bunny but Li Shi Ying on the other hand really didn’t understand what her fox was doing.
She was just about to scold Jiu Wei when Long Ao Zhen already dragged her to the carriage. "It’s cold, let’s go in" The man tightened his grip on Li Shi Ying’s waist before making her enter the carriage in lightning speed.
The night was windy and cold. Knowing that what Long Ao Zhen said was true, Li Shi Ying could only obediently stay inside the carriage but she silently asked Jiu Wei using telepathy as they waited for Baihu Sei and Qiao Mo to enter the carriage.
"Jiu Wei, what’s wrong with you? Why the hell you push me just now?" Li Shi Ying was sensitive about her beasts feeling so she knew something wasn’t right with Jiu Wei.
They were about to go on a dangerous journey if Jiu Wei was in a bad mood it would somehow put him in danger.
"...mistress doesn’t need me anymore" Jiu Wei’s distant and lonely voice filled Li Shi Ying’s mind. The girl didn’t see Jiu Wei face but from his voice alone she knew Jiu Wei was feeling down.
"What are you saying?!" Li Shi Ying’s heart skipped a beat hearing what Jiu Wei said. This was the first time Jiu Wei ever seriously said this.
