"Where should my wife sit? You said that the beasts could bring their spouse, but you don’t provide them with any seat?"

"I know." Xi Xue interrupted. The man slowly sat down on the ice-cold seat next to him. "But, I decided to bring my wife to the meeting."
"Eh?" Bíng Huo muttered in shock. The girl was stunned beyond words. She looked back and forth between Xi Xue and the ice eagle, before slowly whispering on Xi Xue’s ear.
"Xue Xue, didn’t you say that I don’t need to know the content of the meeting? After I greet your friends, I’ll just wait outside– "
"I change my mind. It’s better if you know what’s going on, but promise me...don’t panic." Xi Xue grabbed Bíng Huo’s wrist and pulled her out of the blue.
Bíng Huo hadn’t realised what’s going on when her body moved forward and the next second, she was sitting on Xi Xue’s lap.
