The Tree of Life was the root of the elves’ growth. The closer they were to the Tree of Life, the faster the growth of their source of life would be. Every elf struggled to live closer to the Tree of Life.
Among the Elves, the hierarchy was very strict. The layer after layer of cities spread outward from the Moonshine City were home to elves with different ranks. The higher the elves’ strength or the better their talent was, the more they could enter the cities closer to the center and correspondingly, they could live closer to the Tree of Life, which would bring them huge improvements to their growth or cultivation.
Shen Yanxiao came to the Moon G.o.d Continent in order to get close to the Tree of Life and improve the source of life in her body.

There were a total of more than 50 cyan-level cities, but only five black-level cities.
Shen Yanxiao and Vermillion Bird were about to arrive at a cyan-level[1] city named Fragrant Night City.
The cyan-level cities[1] were unguarded. Any elf could enter them at will. Shen Yanxiao was already in her elf's appearance so she did not receive any obstruction in Fragrant Night City.
Although it was the lowest-level city, the architecture in Fragrant Night City was also in the style that the elves liked. It was a picture of pure white.
The beautiful elves walked through the city, and none of them did not look good.

Wen Ya's father was a human being, but her mother was an elf. Wen Ya’s mother, which was Shen Yanxiao's grandmother, belonged to a branch of the Moonshine Tribe.
