Naken was instantly happy. He didn’t notice the three mentors at the other end of the classroom. What he saw was just this group of losers.
“Yo, look who’s here! What’s a group of stray dogs doing here? Could it be that we haven’t beaten you enough yet? Are your skins itching again?” Naken spoke arrogantly, but before he could finish everything he wanted to say, a shout suddenly rang in the room.
“Naken! What are you doing?!” Luoqiu suddenly roared.
Luoqiu’s roar stunned Naken. He immediately raised his head and saw two other mentors standing beside Luoqiu. One of them was Kehr, and the other looked very similar to the new mentor, Yan Di.
Naken’s heart jumped and he was immediately stricken dumb.
“Mentor Luoqiu, if I’m not mistaken, it’s my students that your students are carrying.” Shen Yanxiao crossed her arms over her chest and the corner of her mouth formed a contemptuous smile.
Luoqiu’s expression was hard to look at.
Kehr was rather helpless.
“Yan Di, let me deal with this matter. First, take your students back to recuperate.” Kehr looked at Shen Yanxiao and said.
Shen Yanxiao looked at Kehr and her eyes were full of distrust.
“How are you going to deal with this matter?” She didn’t think Kehr would punish Luoqiu at all.
Kehr didn’t open his mouth. Shen Yanxiao’s foundation was still shallow, but Luoqiu was one of the most important mentors of Deathfire Academy. Even if Luoqiu had brought harm to Shen Yanxiao’s students, Kehr could not punish him.
Kehr’s silence chilled Shen Yanxiao’s eyes, while Luoqiu on the other side raised a smug smile.
“Mentor Yan Di, it’s in their nature for students to occasionally have a friendly match. You can’t be so fussy about it.” Knowing that Kehr was on his side, Luoqiu began to find a grand excuse for the abuse he had done to Shen Yanxiao’s students.
“Friendly match?” Shen Yanxiao snorted.
“Since Mentor Luoqiu and your students like friendly matches so much, why don’t we have a competition?” Since Kehr couldn’t give her students justice, she would do it herself.
“What competition?” Luoqiu looked at Shen Yanxiao cautiously. Shen Yanxiao’s attack just now made him have lingering fears.
“How about a friendly match between our two classes in a month’s time?” Shen Yanxiao smilingly said.
Luoqiu breathed a sigh of relief. To tell the truth, Shen Yanxiao’s spectacular skill really made him feel a little baffled, but if it were just a competition between students, then…
“Alright, I agree.” Luoqiu’s eyes were shining with a malicious light. All of his students were top students in Deathfire Academy. Their strength was the best. On the other hand, Shen Yanxiao’s students were those who had been eliminated by him at the beginning. The fighting strength of the students on either side was not comparable at all.
“But a simple match seems a bit boring. Why don’t we put some bets on it?” Luoqiu said, apparently harboring malicious intentions.
“What bet?” It was Shen Yanxiao’s turn to ask Luoqiu.
“If one of the two groups of students lose, it means the mentor of that side is not qualified to teach, so we have to ask the mentor of the losers to leave Deathfire Academy.” Luoqiu finally let out his thoughts.
He did not believe in the least that his students would lose. Shen Yanxiao actually gave him such a good chance to drive her out of Deathfire Academy in a justifiable way. She was such an idiot.
Luoqiu’s words made Kehr a bit stunned. He could tell Luoqiu’s intentions in suggesting such a bet.
