Chapter 1985 – Adorable Human Being (1)
Zhanye practically bolted out of the tent. Shile, who was standing outside, stared dumbfoundedly at this guy who had rushed out in less than a minute and pulled him over.
“Why did you come out so soon?” Shile stared at him. He had watched Zhanye go into the tent. He had not had time to fantasize about anything yet, so how come this young master came out already?
Zhanye blushed hard as he was pulled by Shile, and his eyes were tinged with nervousness and shyness.
“…” Just what kind of expression was this?
“What exactly did you do in there?” Shile looked at Zhanye strangely. If it hadn’t been for the fact that he had come out so quickly, he would have really thought that Zhanye had done something shameful, and that was why he was incredibly so embarrassed.
Zhanye shook his head at once.
“I… I did nothing.”
Shile squinted his eyes, apparently not believing his words.
He did nothing, but he was blushing so hard that his face already resembled a monkey’s butt?
Shile had just prepared to “interrogate” Zhanye through “torture” when they heard a commotion in the camp.
By the campfire surrounded by teenagers, a small figure appeared unwittingly, which attracted everyone’s attention.
It was a small person, clad in dark purple clothing from head to foot, his two tiny hands held by his chest, ill at ease; his delicate young face was covered with crystal clear tears.
“Where did this child come from?” Zhanye and Shile rushed over and looked at the little person who was not tall enough to reach their waist with surprise in their eyes.
The little fellow, who was surrounded by a group of young undead, looked as if he had been greatly frightened. His small body was shrinking, and his big watery eyes were full of tears. Such a pitiful appearance ensured that people could not help but feel distressed.
“Hey, kid, who are you?” One of the teenagers came up and asked.
Who knew that with this just one question, the little fellow would cry out loud.

Hearing such a sad cry, the group of teenagers panicked. Each and every one of them was stunned in place and did not know what to do.
“You… Don’t cry! We have no evil intentions.” As the captain of the Flaming Red Squad, Zhanye immediately went forward, but the little fellow retreated in fright. Zhanye immediately realized that his tall body might be bringing pressure to the little fellow, so he crouched down and tried hard to put on a gentle and friendly face.
It had to be said that whenever Zhanye was not in front of Shen Yanxiao, his intelligence was still quite high.
Zhanye’s actions made the frightened little fellow calm down a little. The little guy blinked his big tearful eyes and looked at Zhanye with his small mouth pursed slightly.
That look, watching it made Zhanye felt a strong pain in his heart.
“What’s your name? Why are you here? Have you lost your way?” Zhanye asked patiently in a warm voice.
The little fellow looked at Zhanye with a whimper and did not utter a word for a long time.
Shile stared at the little fellow for a moment and noticed something strange.
“Zhanye… This little fellow, it isn’t like… an undead.” Shile’s voice tensed up.
Wasn’t like an undead?
All the teenagers were startled. Only then did Zhanye, who was the closest one to the little fellow, discover that there was no aura of death energy on the body of the adorable little one in front of them; rather, there was a very strange aura which was full of vitality.
In the Howling Abyss, both the undead and the undead creatures would emit death energy, but this symbolic aura was not emanating from this little fellow.
It was clear that Shile’s guess was correct.
The kid who broke into their camp by mistake was not of their kind!
