The members of Phantom were most concerned about their trip to the last temple of the God Race. Even
though the several young people seldom mentioned it, they knew how much they looked forward to it.
The God Race, the powerful and mysterious people, the great existences that had disappeared in the long
river of history; the mystery was about to be unveiled in front of them.
Shen Yanxiao intended to wait for the Dragon God and Shen Siyu to come to The Rising City, to go to the
last temple together.
After Xiu’s revival, there was still Shen Siyu, her elder brother who had guarded her for many years, in
Shen Yanxiao’s mind.
Back then, Shen Siyu sealed the passage of the devil realm with his own godhood, bringing long-term
stability to the world. This action also reduced him from a superior god, the God of Light, to a demigod. In
the case of Shen Siyu, as long as he entered the last temple and repaired his damaged godhood, he could
recover to the peak in a very short time.
“Xiu, what is the last temple like?” Night had fallen. Shen Yanxiao sat cross-legged on the bed, dressed in a
single-layer garment. She looked at Xiu, who was sitting at the table, and asked curiously.
The land of the gods must be beautiful.
“It’s just a palace.” Xiu barely opened his mouth to answer. With his indierent temperament, he would
not care about the beauty of a mere building.
“Can’t a new god be born without the Lord God?” Shen Yanxiao tilted her head. She always thought that
the fall of the gods was a very incredulous thing. How could such a formidable race completely disappear
from the world after a battle?
And of the only three remaining gods, one was reduced to a demigod, one was taken to be an
experimental object, and the other only preserved his soul by chance.
Apart from Xiu; Shen Siyu and the Dragon God were not really superior gods at present.
Only after they were restored in the last temple could Shen Siyu and the Dragon God return to their peak.
“In theory, it’s not impossible. It’s just that all the female gods had already died in the previous war
between the gods and devils. Furthermore, both my and the Light God’s situation is very bad. It’s no
longer possible to breed new gods.” Xiu said this indierently, as if the death of his entire clan were

maybe other gods could as well.
“The odds are small.” Xiu answered.
“Where on earth has the Lord God gone in the end?” This question had been lingering in Shen Yanxiao’s
mind for a long time now.
Xiu paused and remained silent for a moment before saying, “I knew he was leaving.”
“What?” Shen Yanxiao was slightly shocked.
“During the period before his disappearance, something was very amiss with him. He arranged a lot of
things and told me that I would be in charge of the aairs of the God Race. He didn’t say where he was
going, nor why.” Xiu calmly narrated.
Shen Yanxiao looked wide-eyed at Xiu almost immediately. She couldn’t believe that before the Lord God
disappeared, Xiu had already known that the Lord God was about to leave.
What made her feel even more odd was that the behavior of the Lord God before he disappeared seemed
to indicate that he had already known that he had to leave the God Race, and so he handed over
everything to Xiu.
But…
What was the reason?
What on earth happened to the Lord God, that he had to leave the God Race?
