Shen Yanxiao nodded slightly, “This Flurry Rabbit no longer has the will to live. Can you give it a hand?”
Shen Yanxiao could clearly feel that the Flurry Rabbit under her palm didn’t wish to continue living. A
magical beast that had no idea of life; no matter how many potions one drank… this could not save its
dead soul.
The woman nodded as she trembled, trying to suppress the despair and grief in her heart while walking
to the bedside with the child in her arms.
“Bunny~ Bunny ~ Da Da~” The ignorant child did not know that his dad had left him forever. He only knew
that the little rabbit lying in bed was his father’s magical beast, the bunny that often played with him.
Only, why did the bunny look so weak now? Why did it lie there motionless, why did it not play with him?
The innocent call of the child made the hearts of the people in the room ache. They all bowed their heads
in memory of their fallen comrades.
“Baby, bunny is sleeping, shall we wake it up? The bunny’s friend has left, and it is very sad right now. Is
baby willing to accompany it?” Shen Yanxiao looked at the tender face of the child and spoke in a soft
voice.
The child blinked his bright eyes, looked at the lethargic Flurry Rabbit, and then looked at his mother. In
her tearful eyes, he could not nd the answer.
“Bunny sleeps?” The child turned to Shen Yanxiao in a daze.
Shen Yanxiao nodded.
“Will baby wake it up?”
The child looked at Shen Yanxiao. After a few moments, he nodded rmly. He came out of his mother’s
arms, staggered up to the bed and knelt beside the Flurry Rabbit, then he touched its lthy fur and said,
“Bunny is good. The sun is shining on your bottom. Bunny get up.”
The child’s immature voice was like a needle that pierced the hearts of all the people in the room. His
mother found it even more dicult to suppress her grief and turned her head aside while covering her
mouth.
Those words were what her husband always said when he woke up their child every day. Now, learning
the tone of his father, the little child tried to wake up the Flurry Rabbit.
The child kept repeating it over and over again, and his little hands did not stop touching the Flurry Rabbit
for a moment.
The Flurry Rabbit with a weak breath suddenly moved slightly, and everyone’s heart beat with it.
Those tired eyes slowly opened, and what they saw was the innocent face of the child with his master’s
blood.
“Bunny! Bunny!” The child saw the Flurry Rabbit open its eyes, and a surprised smile appeared on its
innocent face. He waved his other small hand as if to invite the people around him to see the Flurry
Rabbit wake up with him.
“Baby, will you hold it?” Shen Yanxiao whispered. She could feel that the vitality of the Flurry Rabbit was
recovering, bit by bit.
The child nodded rmly, stretched out his chubby little arms, and held the dirty Flurry Rabbit in his arms
without any resistance. It was as if the thing in his arms were his most precious treasure. He tilted his little
face and rubbed against the fur of the Flurry Rabbit, saying, “Bunny, don’t sleep; bunny will accompany
me …”
The sobbing woman sat on the ground with her heart broken.
Her child still didn’t realize that his father had left him forever.
“My baby, dad went on a long journey and now there is no one to take care of the Flurry Rabbit. Is it okay
for you to take care of it?” The woman wiped away her tears and looked at her child with sadness.
