Chapter 2113: The Frightening Essence Supreme!
Space was a complicated and mysterious construct, and the depths of spacetime were even more mysterious, but the dark golden talisman seemed to be pulled by an invisible force toward a certain location.
After some time, clap! The dark golden talisman finished its journey and entered a unique dimension. In a flash of light, it entered a glassy, square instrument in the center of this dimension.
Fwoosh!
A blue light blazed to life within the glass instrument, gradually illuminating this dark dimension.
With this blue light, one could see what appeared to be grooves and wrinkles in the darkness.
After what seemed like both a second and like endless years, a faint and bizarre voice spoke.
“Genesis Supreme, is that you?
“Truly surprising! In just one thousand years, so many incidents have taken place. Firmament Supreme just died, and now you’ve come here as well.”
For a moment, all was quiet, and then that blue light in the glass instrument flashed, and Genesis Supreme’s voice resounded through the dimension, tinged with an indescribable hatred.
“Hmph, Essence Supreme, are you mocking me?”
The dark golden light that had shuttled through spacetime had been none other than the fleeing Genesis Supreme.
For some reason, his soul had not been annihilated, and he had entered this mysterious dimension by means of that talisman.
“Genesis Supreme, you misunderstand. That is not what I meant. But can you tell me who it is that beat you into this state? Putting aside the collapse of your physical body, even your soul was almost lost.
“Li Taiyi is already dead, so I truly can’t think of anyone that can threaten a Supreme.”
As that faint voice continued to speak, light blue points of light began to slowly appear on the edges of this dimension, like little fireflies.
One could finally see that this dimension Genesis Supreme’s soul had entered appeared to be some sort of cave.
No, not a cave, because in that blue light, one could see that the walls of this cave pulsed and wriggled as if they were alive. In fact, on second look, one would realize that these walls were thick layers of flesh.
The wrinkles created by the squeezing of flesh created the grooves, and if one got up close, one would see thick blood vessels and meridians. But unlike human blood, this blood was blue.
In the center of this strange space was Genesis Supreme’s soul, contained within the glass instrument.
Having just lost his physical body and almost his life, Genesis Supreme was seething with anger and impatience. Despite this, however, he was rendered speechless by Essence Supreme’s question.
The Supremes were the strongest experts under Heaven’s command. How could he admit that he had nearly lost his life to a human in his teens?
Even more humiliating was that he had been hoodwinked by Li Xuantu and Wang Chong.
Now that he thought about it, the two of them had essentially invited him into walking into the trap that was the imperial city.
Genesis Supreme immediately changed the subject. “Let’s not talk about that. Didn’t Heaven have you find out what happened with Firmament Supreme? What have you found?”
Amongst the twelve Supremes, Essence Supreme had extremely unique powers. He existed in a different fashion from the others, and his domain in the organization was very special.
One of his abilities was gathering information.
The thick walls of wriggling flesh flashed with a light as Essence Supreme began to speak. It did not think too much about the abrupt change in topic, and it spoke with a somewhat contemplative tone.
“I’ve already investigated the area. Firmament Supreme was utterly annihilated, not even a shard of his soul left. This means that not even I can save him now!
“In addition, the spacetime ripples created by the giant teleportation gate are serving as a serious source of disturbance on the Caspian Sea, and much information has been damaged. However, I was still able to gather some information and reconstruct the battle that took place there.
“The culprits behind Firmament Supreme’s destruction were three extremely young and identical humans. But to say that they are humans is somewhat inappropriate, as they felt to me like bodies of law energy. They appeared to be clones belonging to someone else.
“These three clones infiltrated through the earth, using the fact that Firmament Supreme had all his attention taken up by the spacetime formation to cast the energy core I had collected into the teleportation gate, resulting in an explosion.
“I was able to conclude that one of these clones was skilled in traveling through the earth while another clone had an Ice Element ability that could freeze the world. The spacetime explosion was so powerful that I was not able to reconstruct any information beyond this.”
Buzz!
Genesis Supreme had only been intending to change the subject, but when he heard this report, his soul shivered in shock.
“What did you say? Three clones? What did they look like? Let me see!”
Within the walls of flesh and blood, Essence Supreme’s mind pulsed, apparently surprised by Genesis Supreme’s reaction. But Essence Supreme soon responded.
Azure dots of light began to congregate in the air, creating a projection of two individuals across from the glass instrument.
With one glance, Genesis Supreme felt his heart explode in rage.
“Bastard!” Genesis Supreme’s soul bellowed in rage.
Wang Chong!
Genesis Supreme had never imagined that the person that Essence Supreme was investigating, the one who had entrapped Firmament Supreme, was none other than the same person who had destroyed his physical body in the capital of the Great Tang: Wang Chong, the Child of Destruction!
“I will kill you!!”
Genesis Supreme’s soul shuddered from his wrath.
Two of the mighty Supremes of the organization had met their destruction at the hands of the same human! This was an unprecedented humiliation.
As Genesis Supreme trembled in rage at this discovery, the thick walls of flesh also trembled.
“You recognize him?”
Genesis Supreme quickly voiced his speculations, and once he was done, Essence Supreme began to speak, seemingly even more shocked than Genesis Supreme.
“The one who killed Firmament Supreme and the one who defeated you are the same person?!”
The investigation of Firmament Supreme’s death had reached an impasse, as even those tens of thousands of nomadic warriors that had gathered had all been slain. The lack of witnesses and the chaos created by the Power of Spacetime had prevented Essence Supreme from gathering much information.
There was no evidence with regards to those three strange clones. Essence Supreme had never imagined that the answer to this question would be the same as the answer to the question of who had destroyed Genesis Supreme’s physical body.
Two Supremes had died to the same human. This was simply inconceivable!
“Essence Supreme, hurry and heal me, and also get me a new body. I’ll kill that bastard myself!”
Genesis Supreme’s infuriated voice resounded through the space.
For an ancient existence like Genesis Supreme, so long as his soul was not destroyed, he would never die.
And this dimension presided over by Essence Supreme was the key to their resurrection.
The soul of every Supreme that ‘died’ would come here and receive Essence Supreme’s treatment, which included a complicated resurrection process.
No matter how damaged the soul was, Essence Supreme would always have a means to heal it.
One could say that Essence Supreme’s healing abilities were the foundation of the Celestial God Organization, the reason that the other Supremes could lord over mortals and call themselves gods.
While mortals would die, gods were nigh unkillable.

Essence Supreme’s voice boomed through the dimension.
“Your injuries are rather severe, and the healing process will be rather painful. In addition, it will take time for the new body to synchronize with the soul. Prepare yourself. The healing process will take at least one month!”

As Essence Supreme spoke, the dark dimension began to rumble. A massive, azure formation appeared around the glass instrument, complex patterns wriggling around until they ultimately linked with the glass instrument and Genesis Supreme’s injured soul.
As the formation activated, an ancient chant started up. Powerful surges of energy began to travel along the formation’s patterns, roaring as they slammed into Genesis Supreme’s soul.
“Aaaah!”
Genesis Supreme’s soul shuddered as he howled in pain. Not even an ancient existence like Genesis Supreme could endure the immense pain that came with healing a soul.
This intense pain made Genesis Supreme loathe Wang Chong even more.
“Bastard! I’ll kill you! I’ll definitely kill you!
“Essence Supreme, notify Grand Supreme and Radiance Supreme to energize the formation and hasten the cold wave! I want everything in the world frozen, the Great Tang destroyed!”
Genesis Supreme’s hate-filled voice resounded through the dimension.
“There is no need to worry. Heaven has already ordered them to advance the cold wave and proceed with the Purification plan as quickly as possible.” Essence Supreme’s calm and collected voice came from all around.
Genesis Supreme’s soul flashed several times before falling silent.
The dimension quickly fell quiet, the massive formation and the walls of flesh exploding with flashes of brilliance.
At the same time, past the walls of flesh, far, far above…
Whoosh!
The crashing of waves could be heard.
This place was located deep within a dark ocean, and lurking beneath these black waters was a massive creature. It had an appearance similar to a jellyfish, but it also had a hard outer shell, countless tentacles, sharp horns, and a most savage and horrifying face. This was an ancient sea monster.
The mysterious dimension in which Genesis Supreme was resting lay within this ancient sea monster.
