Chapter 156: Regret Reminding Her
Being stared at by Jiang Xuecheng’s wolf-like eyes, Su Wan was taken aback. Then, her heart raced and knew she had said the wrong words.
“Yeah, you wish! Where can you buy a photo and get the photographer as a free gift?”
Su Wan rolled her eyes and shoved the remote controller to him. Then, she dashed upstairs, not bothering about her blush.
Phew, finally, she didn’t have to face the wolf in human clothing…
Letting out a sigh of relief, Su Wan lowered her head and saw her sweater a little dirty. She had probably gotten the oil stain from the rice noodles shop.
It looked like she should take a shower too. It wouldn’t be good if Jiang Xuecheng regarded her as dirty.
Su Wan walked into the bathroom quickly and took a shower for more than an hour. Her pores felt dilated after a warm bath.
Her mood was good and while humming a song, she dried herself. When she stretched her hand to grab her pajamas from the clothes rack, she realized she had forgotten to bring her pajamas into the bathroom.
Su Wan widened her eyes. Just now, the decision to bathe was a last-minute one and at that time, Jiang Xuecheng caused her to feel ill at ease. So, she had forgotten to take her pajamas…
How should she go out without her pajamas and bath robe? She couldn’t go out naked, could she?
Or should she call Jiang Xuecheng to grab her pajamas?
It was embarrassing…
Su Wan stood where she was and could not make up her mind. Goodness, recently, she was extremely dumb!
In a dilemma, Su Wan saw a long white shirt on the clothes rack. That shirt was obviously Jiang Xuecheng’s.
Biting her lips, Su Wan thought wearing Jiang Xuecheng’s shirt was an option—at least it was better than asking Jiang Xuecheng to bring her pajamas.
Taking advantage of the man still in the living hall, if she could do it fast and slip into the dressing room on the same floor to change, she would not be discovered!
Su Wan hesitated for more than ten minutes and the more she thought about it, the more she felt this option was best. She blushed as she took the white shirt and wore it carefully.
Compared to Jiang Xuecheng’s height, Su Wan was really petite. So, that white shirt worn on Su Wan’s body did not have a body shaping effect but rather, it became a huge dress.
Su Wan wore the shirt like a little child wearing an adult’s shirt secretly. It was funny and innocently cute.
After changing into the white shirt, Su Wan looked at herself in the mirror and she walked out of the bathroom when she was sure nothing was wrong.
Su Wan carefully opened the bathroom door. Her gesture of opening the door was light and no noise was made. She stuck out her head to look and when she was sure Jiang Xuecheng was still downstairs, she let out a sigh of relief.
Phew, luckily the man had not come up. It looked like her luck was quite good.
On tiptoes, Su Wan closed the door. She carried her slippers as she felt walking barefoot would be lighter and less likely to disturb Jiang Xuecheng.
Luckily, the distance from here to the dressing room was not far and it was a corridor away. Su Wan slipped into the dressing room quickly. When she saw the rows of clothes, she let her guard down.
Su Wan tilted her face up and her hand brushed through the clothes. She silently wondered where she had placed her favorite blue pajamas.
Jiang Xuecheng, who was downstairs, knew Su Wan had gone for a shower. He looked at his watch and discovered that almost two hours had passed but Su Wan was not down yet. He began to worry.
It had been such a long time and she was not done bathing?
Long hours of warm shower might cause lack of blood supply in the brain. Could Su Wan have fainted in the bathroom?
Jiang Xuecheng pursed his lips. He went upstairs and realized the bathroom door was open.
Just as Jiang Xuecheng was slightly stunned, he heard a rustling sound from somewhere. He turned following the sound and walked towards the dressing room.
“I’ve found it finally!”
From a pile of messy clothes, she found the blue pajamas. There was an unhidden joy on Su Wan’s face.
She happily took the blue pajamas and put in front of herself. Then, she wanted to change into it.
Jiang Xuecheng who was at the entrance saw that scene and was surprised.
The male white shirt on Su Wan’s body was loose and seemed funny but there was some kind of pure enchantment.
On the other hand, Su Wan, who had just found her pajamas, was immersed in joy and didn’t notice Jiang Xuecheng standing by the door.
Caught off guard, she stretched out her hand and started to unbutton the first button on the shirt.
Su Wan’s back was facing him. From Jiang Xuecheng’s angle, the light of the cloakroom shined on her fair, long legs with beautiful line.
Jiang Xuecheng stared at Su Wan steadily and the coldness of his dark eyes faded while the temperature kept rising.
Su Wan was now unbuttoning the second button and did not know the man at the door was watching her and thoughts were running wild in his mind.
Should he remind Su Wan and let her stop what she was doing?
Jiang Xuecheng pursed his lips slightly. He had never been in such a difficult position before, not even while negotiating a business contract in the past.
After considering for two seconds, Jiang Xuecheng coughed slightly and thought he had the responsibility to remind this insensitive woman.
The man’s low voice entered her ears and Su Wan stopped unbuttoning the shirt immediately. She froze and unconsciously turned around.
Just then, the blue pajamas in Su Wan’s hand dropped onto the floor.
Su Wan widen her eyes and thought all her blood had rushed up to her brain.
That moment, she met his gaze.
Jiang Xuecheng stared at Su Wan attentively. His usual coldness had faded in that pair of bright but deep eyes but instead there was a sense of appalling heat, as if penetrating Su Wan’s entire body!
As Su Wan had just taken her shower, her cheeks were rosy and because of Jiang Xuecheng’s interruption, two of the shirt’s buttons were opened, exposing her delicate collarbones while the peaks beneath remained covered.
However, this did not hinder Jiang Xuecheng’s imagination.
Smelling at the unique and light fragrance on Su Wan’s body, Jiang Xuecheng regretted.
Why did he remind her?
This time, it was not him who had forced her. He had simply across a beautiful scene by chance!
Su Wan blushed and rejoiced secretly that she had stopped the unbuttoning. Whether it was intentional or accidental, she could not get herself to change in front of Jiang Xuecheng!
After rejoicing, she remembered she was wearing Jiang Xuecheng’s clothes. A great humiliation attacked her.
She bit her lips and wished she could find a hole to hide inside.
“I forgot to take my pajamas just now, so…”
At that moment, Su Wan’s clear and attractive cheeks was bursting with embarrassment but it was very lovable.
Jiang Xuecheng’s Adam’s apple moved slightly. His mind had long been restless, attacking his rationality without stopping.
