Chapter 157: Beitong Celebration Banquet
The dressing room was spacious but Su Wan had a feeling she had nowhere to hide. The air seemed to have turned hotter that instant.
“Wan Wan, are you trying to test my composure?”
Jiang Xuecheng stared at her steadily but there were unhidden sparks in his dark eyes and his voice became hoarse.
“No, definitely not!”
Su Wan then put her head down uncomfortably. Her fingers were trembling slightly, revealing her panicked state at that moment.
“Xuecheng, could you please go out? I’d like to change…”
Jiang Xuecheng took a deep breath and his nose was filled with Su Wan’s light fragrance. His desire to rub Su Wan into his body was so strong, he couldn’t control himself.
Before Su Wan’s voice died down, she heard Jiang Xuecheng’s footsteps nearing her.
A huge figure stood steadily in front of her. Su Wan raised her head when she felt danger in front of her.

Su Wan caught hold of Jiang Xuecheng’s collar and blushed. She took a step backward and reminded him, “This is the dressing room.”
What Su Wan meant was not to do it here.
Her voice was very soft but loud enough for Jiang Xuecheng to hear.
Jiang Xuecheng knew Su Wan was thin-skinned. When he saw her simple and elegant face stained red, he let out a low laugh.
He lowered his head and planted a light kiss on Su Wan’s forehead. Then, he carried her by the waist out of the closet.
The night was dark and under the veil, Jiang Xuecheng arbitrarily attacked Su Wan. He was overbearing when it came to this. So, everything was domineered by him. Su Wan was unable to resist.
Hence, like usual, Su Wan passed out in the end and Jiang Xuecheng reluctantly let her go.
Su Wan’s stamina was not good…

Jiang Xuecheng looked at the curtains swaying in the wind and lowered his head. He caressed Su Wan’s beautiful face carefully with his hand while she was asleep.
Should he apply for an annual fitness club card for Su Wan so she could train her stamina?
After some thoughts, Jiang Xuecheng felt there would be too many male coaches in fitness clubs. If he were to apply, he would go with her or find her a female coach.

“It was too tiring…last night. Xuecheng, could we not be so tired in future…”

“We didn’t do much last night. Wan Wan, your stamina is too poor. I think the responsibility lies on you. You should train more.”
When Su Wan heard how Jiang Xuecheng twisted her words, she immediately rolled her eyes.
When she recalled how she had failed in various forms of resistance against him, she felt dejected for a moment and finally stopped.
What else could she do? She couldn’t ask Jiang Xuecheng to look for someone else, could she?
Su Wan pouted at Jiang Xuecheng’s reflection in the mirror. Then, she took out the documents on Beitong celebration banquet and continued practicing her script.
The script was not too long and its content was relatively simple. However, Su Wan was nervous because all the employees of Di Chen Group will be present tonight…
She was afraid she would have stage fright and forget her script. It would then be embarrassing, not only for her but for Jiang Xuecheng too!

As this was the company’s internal event and Di Chen Group had a huge exhibition hall which could hold thousands of people, they had decided to hold this banquet internally. They invited only one media company to shoot the event and to interview.
The minute Su Wan and Jiang Xuecheng got down from the car, they saw a group of employees nodding respectfully at them.
“Hello Young Master, Ms. Su.”
Su Wan smiled a friendly smile at the employees and caught up to Jiang Xuecheng’s pace.
Ah Si who was sitting right in front saw both of them coming. He grinned as he came to greet them.
“Young Master, Young Madam, you’re finally here. The celebration is starting soon. Come, please be seated.”
Jiang Xuecheng nodded casually and held Su Wan’s hand as they walked toward the main seats.
Based on Su Wan’s position in the company, she was not eligible to sit at the main seat but it was the Beitong celebration banquet today and she was one of the important main characters.
This celebration banquet was an event for the employees of Di Chen Group but there were a few celebrities attending as guests.
As Beitong would be the main filming location for Nirvana of Phoenix, the planner had invited the director, Li Shan, the male lead, Zheng Feng and the female lead, Ye Siren to attend the banquet.
Suddenly, Su Wan heard screams and cheers from the back. She turned, following the sound.
From afar, she could see a man and a woman in splendid attires, holding hands and walking into the hall. The woman was wearing a scarlet off-shoulder evening gown. She had the enticing glances of a beauty and was very charming. The man holding her hands was equally charming.
