Chapter 192: Give Me Half of Yours Too
Gu Zihang looked at Su Yurou, who looked sad. He couldn’t bear to see her like this. He wanted to stretch out his hand to console her but halfway through, he dropped his hand.
At the thought of this gentle and weak woman deceiving him that she was pregnant with his child just because she wanted to marry him, Gu Zihang couldn’t feel happy within!
Back then, when he knew Su Yurou was pregnant, he was so happy and wished he could fetch the stars in the sky for Su Yurou.

Su Yurou’s hands were cold, making Gu Zihang shiver slightly.
“Zihang, do you know that I was really afraid to lose you after Wan returned? Although Wan had married another person, my influence in Sheng Yuan is deteriorating…”
Gu Zihang gazed at Su Yurou steadily. She was so fragile, just like a gardenia atop a tree, damaged by the wind and rain and about to wither any time.
“Yurou…I know all this…”
Gu Zihang wanted to argue with Su Yurou about something but she blocked his lips with her finger.
Su Yurou’s face was pale and a sense of sorrow flashed through her eyes.
“Your mother dislikes me. Under such circumstances, I really didn’t know what else I could do to rightfully marry you without obstruction other than to lie that I have your child.
As she spoke, two streams of tears flowed down from her misty eyes.
“Zihang, I love you, I really love you very much and I don’t want to lose you. That’s why I did what I did…”
Gu Zihang was stunned. He looked at the fragile woman in front of him and finally stretched out his hands to bring her into his embrace. He sighed lowly, not knowing how to reprimand Su Yurou.
The atmosphere of the two people in the room finally eased.
Su Yurou knew that deep down, Gu Zihang liked girls who were soft, probably because he had been oppressed by Du Huimin for many years. He hoped someone could look up to him as if she were looking up to God.

Su Yurou leaned her head against Gu Zihang’s shoulders. Her body trembled slightly and she let out a whimper like a little kitten.
Gu Zihang couldn’t help feeling his heart ache.
However, at an angle Gu Zihang couldn’t see, a silent, cold smile crept to Su Yurou’s lips.
She knew when Gu Zihang hugged her, he was unwilling to divorce.
Her next move was to face Du Huimin, that old hag!
What Su Yurou failed to figure out was how Du Huimin had found out about her faking her pregnancy. After all, she had bribed the director of Kang Ping Hospital with lots of money.
Did Du Huimin suspect her from the very beginning?
Just when Su Yurou was thinking, the sound of someone walking up the stairs sent shivers down Su Yurou’s spine and at the same time woke Gu Zihang up with a start.
Gu Zihang looked out the door as he caressed Su Yurou’s back gently.
“Yurou, don’t be afraid. I’m here. Everything will be alright…”
Seeing Su Yurou’s knitted brows and forbearing look, Gu Zihang’s heart softened slightly.
This little woman in his embrace seemed to be very scared of Du Huimin.
Gu Zihang pursed his lips and knew that he couldn’t get away with the situation created today.
Su Yurou slowly nodded. She raised her head and looked at Gu Zihang with tears in her beautiful eyes. She looked at him as if this man was a deity which she believed in and was willing to give everything to.
Both of them were still holding each other silently. The minute Du Huimin came up, she saw the scene.
Flame of anger arose in Du Huimin’s eyes. How soft was her son’s ears to forgive the white lotus in no time?
If this could be tolerated, what else was intolerable?
Du Huimin dashed forward quickly. Her eyes were dark and her aura was much stronger than Gu Zihang, the CEO of Gu Group.
“Zihang, haven’t you seen this woman clearly? I told you, divorce her immediately!”
Before Du Huimin’s merciless voice died down, Su Yurou’s shoulders trembled vigorously.
She hid her head in Gu Zihang’s embrace and dared not stick out her head. She was scared to the peak, just like a mouse seeing a cat.
With heartache, Gu Zihang stared at Su Yurou’s pitiful look. His heart became firmer and firmer as he met his mother’s gaze.
“Mother, Yurou knows she’s in the wrong. Whether we divorce or not is between me and her. Please don’t interfere.”

“Yurou just said she would transfer half the shares under her name to you.”
Su Yurou’s eyes widened. She had just said she would give her shares to Gu Zihang and not the old hag. If she were to give the shares to Gu Zihang, she could take it back sooner or later but if she were to give them to that old hag…
Su Yurou’s heart sank!
Gu Zihang saw Su Yurou’s tremor and quickly shook his head toward her, signaling to her to tolerate.
Du Huimin sneered when she saw the interaction between Su Yurou and Gu Zihang.
“So you want to transfer your shares? Great. This is what you’ve said. If you don’t want to divorce, then hand over your shares. I don’t just want her shares, Zihang. Hand half of yours to me too!”
Du Huimin was an astute business woman. Now that Gu Zihang’s heart was all on this white lotus and since she couldn’t convince her son right now, she should stop the loss in time and cut off Su Yurou’s economic lifeline!
