Chapter 332: Get Out!
Not only did Su Wan’s heart race but Zhao Ruolan, who was behind her, was scared out of her wits till she couldn’t breathe.
However, Jiang Xuecheng stood upright where he was as if nothing had happened. He looked firmly at Su Heng.
“You threw a tea cup at your granddaughter before knowing the truth. May I know who the more vicious one is, Mr. Su?”
Jiang Xuecheng’s plain colored shirt was stained with tea. Although his clothes were messy, his aura was not weakened when facing the elderly.
Looking at Jiang Xuecheng’s ability to catch the cup, Su Heng shook. However, he was a person who had seen storms and he stood looking at this junior coldly.
Just when Su Heng was about to mock him, he saw Su Wan dashing toward Jiang Xuecheng.
It was water which had just been boiled!
Was this man crazy? Did he think he was Superman?
Su Wan was scared out of her wits. Feeling loss, she ran toward Jiang Xuecheng and held his shoulders.
“Xuecheng, why were you so daring to catch that cup? The water is so hot, is your hand ok?”
She sounded flustered and couldn’t hide her concern and fear.
When Jiang Xuecheng saw Su Wan’s panicky look, he smiled like the spring breeze.
“Silly girl, the cup of tea was cool. I’m fine.”
“Really?”
Su Wan looked at the table in doubt and saw that there were indeed three cups of hot tea on it. The one that Su Heng had thrown was the one her grandmother had made earlier, which had turned cool.
Su Wan let out a long sigh but the heaviness in her heart had not subsided. She glanced at Jiang Xuecheng with anger and resentment and quickly took his hand.
“Don’t do silly things like this in the future. Even if this isn’t hot water, it’s easy to scratch your hands.”
She removed the cup in Jiang Xuecheng’s hand and examined his hand closely.
Jiang Xuecheng’s hand was wet and slightly red because of overexertion but after careful examination, Su Wan did not find any injuries.
Su Wan’s tightened heart slowly loosen as she exhorted, “Don’t try doing this next time, it wouldn’t be good to hurt yourself.”
Jiang Xuecheng smiled noncommittally and did not say a single word.
When Su Heng saw the devotion between the two of them, he suddenly remembered visiting Su Jiankai and Su Yurou in prison several days ago after spending lots of money. His heart ached as if a thorn was stuck there.
Until now, Su Heng still remembered Su Yurou’s sobbing. She cried as she told him, “Grandfather, I’ve been wronged. I want to go out. I don’t want to stay in this horrible place.
Su Yurou was still so young. She was just in her twenties and should have a colorful future but had to stay in prison for ten of the most brilliant years of her life.
All these had been ruined by the two people in front of him!
What Su Jiankai committed was a real homicide. When he was sentenced, it was said that there should be no parole or commutation of sentence but Su Yurou was different. What she committed was an attempted crime!
The key point was ‘attempted’!
Su Heng had thought of using some means to get Su Yurou out of prison but the related people told him to drop that idea as soon as possible.
Someone from the Jiang family had ordered them to watch over Su Yurou and Su Jiankai. Any tricks would not pass the inspection.
Su Heng’s hands began to clench unconsciously. His sharp eyes swept across Su Wan and Jiang Xuecheng. There was hard-to-conceal resentment in his eyes.
“Wan, why did you come today?”
Su Heng’s voice was calm but it was easy to see the gloom on his face.
Su Wan frowned. She turned around and walked toward the sofa. Then, she took out two red wedding invitations from her handbag.
“Grandfather, Xuecheng and I will have our wedding ceremony on the first of June. I hope that you and Grandmother can attend.”
When Su Wan spoke, there was a faint smile on her face and she had a pleading look in her eyes.
Su Heng took the invitation cards without uttering a single word. Then, he started to examine it closely.
Su Wan looked at Su Heng nervously and thought if her grandfather’s attitude had improved and was prepared to attend their wedding.
However, it wasn’t even a few seconds later before Su Heng’s behavior broke her beautiful imagination.
Su Heng tore the two gorgeous wedding invitations to pieces. His grim look made Su Wan almost forget to breathe.
“You still have the cheek to ask me and your grandmother to attend your wedding? While you have a boisterous wedding, have you thought of your cousin sister leading a life as good as dead in prison now?”
Gold and red paper shards fell like a rain of petals.
Su Wan was confused. When she regained her senses, her beautiful cheeks were suddenly covered with frost.
“Grandfather, they deserved it! They wanted to kill me. Do I still have to treat the vicious-minded father and daughter as guests of honor?”
As she spoke, her body kept rising and falling. It was obvious that she was extremely angry that she spoke to Su Heng in this manner.
When Su Heng heard what Su Wan said, he was extremely furious.
“Aren’t you standing here well and healthy? They’re after all your family!”
“That’s because I was lucky enough to have escaped death or else the one standing here in front of you today would be a corpse! Moreover, in which ordinary family would there be relatives who would attempt to murder their cousin?”

Su Heng was unable to out speak Su Wan for a moment and was so angry, his lips trembled. He took a deep breath and pointed contemptuously at Su Wan with his middle finger.
“Get out of here with your husband! Jing Yuan doesn’t welcome the two of you!”
Su Wan looked at Su Heng as if he was crazy. When she heard the words ‘get out’, her heart felt like it had been stabbed by a sharp knife.
It was an irresistible pain and in a trance, Su Wan even felt the heat of blood.
Su Wan had initially thought that no matter how unreasonable Su Heng was, he would not be biased.
Su Wan blinked with self-mockery. She looked at Su Heng calmly and felt exceptionally sober at that moment.
Jiang Xuecheng had been watching calmly all the time and when he saw Su Wan turn and about to leave, he caught hold of her.
Jiang Xuecheng stood in front of Su Wan and smiled coldly. “Mr. Su, what do you mean by get out? Wan Wan and I don’t know how to do it, why don’t you demonstrate?”
Su Heng almost exploded with anger by what Jiang Xuecheng said!
He had been in the business world for decades and no one had ever dared to speak to him in such a contemptuous tone.
More so when Jiang Xuecheng was a junior!
“Stop that empty talk. Didn’t you marry Wan to get the Su family’s assets? Let me tell you this, although our family has declined, we aren’t completely bankrupt because of our great influence and solid foundation. Even if I die, I won’t let you have the assets!”
Hearing Su Heng’s words of disdain, Su Wan trembled.
In turned out that she and Jiang Xuecheng were such people in Su Heng’s heart.
There was a dull pain in Su Wan’s heart. She took a deep breath and looked straight into Su Heng’s eyes.
“Grandfather, since you think like this, I don’t mind cutting off the relationship with the Su family from now onward!”
