Everyone’s expression changed, and for a few short minutes, some of the people were secretly staring at Qi Feng and cursing him. However, they did not dare to say much and the atmosphere froze.
“Everybody, please sit down first, and we’ll discuss this matter calmly. Today’s meeting was to discuss this matter, after all. Abandoning things halfway isn’t your style, is it?” Morrison said when everybody had calmed down a little.
Everyone took a breath and looked at each other. Although they already had a lot of dissatisfaction with Qi Feng, they endured the discontentment and sat down again.
“Since everyone is interested in staying back and continuing this meeting, it’s best to remain calm and not do anything stupid. If not, Director Yang was the best lesson for everybody else in the room. What the Qi Kai Group doesn’t lack the most are talented people, so if there’s anyone in this room that doesn’t want to stay anymore, there are plenty waiting to get their hands on the seats that you’re sitting on now. It’s not easy for you to have gotten to where you are today, so think wisely.” Morrison seemed to be satisfied with everyone’s reaction, and as he issued his warning, he glanced at Qi Feng, whose expression was still gloomy.
Gu Lingsha was also a little worried because she obviously noticed that Qi Feng’s expression was totally off. He must not have expected the current situation to happen.
