Claire cried.
She shed tears in front of him for the first time.

Spark slowly raised his hand and wiped the tears on Claire’s cheek with his fingers, forcing a pale smile. “Claire, don’t cry… It’s okay. It doesn’t hurt at all…”
He gritted his teeth, stood up with difficulty, and returned to the palace with Claire in his arms.
“He’s there. Take him!”
A group of guards rushed in from outside.
Spark was exhausted and fell to the ground.
It wasn’t until late at night that he woke up. He opened his eyes only to see a head on the bedside.
