Chapter 62: Internal Hemorrhage
Being doubted by a little girl in public, Dr. Zhao was embarrassed and snapped. “Are you a doctor? The X-rays film shows that there is nothing between his ribs!”
Claire closed her eyes and said irritably, “The fragment is stuck in a dead corner, so it can’t be photographed.”
Hearing this, Dr. Zhao sneered. “You mean that, though the equipment can’t film it, you can see it with your eyes? Are your eyes sharper than the equipment? I don’t have time to waste on you. Come on, push the patient into the operating room!”
Claire grabbed Evans’s arm to stop the nurses. Her eyes were as sharp as a blade, and she coldly stared at Dr. Zhao. “If the fragment cuts the kidney and causes hemorrhage in the body during the operation, you will have no time to stop the bleeding!”
Doctor Zhao’s face turned black. “I’m the doctor, OK? Just shut up!”
A nurse said anxiously, “Get out of the way. Dr. Zhao is the best doctor in our hospital. There is no operation that he can’t do!”
“Are you sure?” Claire raised the corners of her lips and let out a low, hoarse chuckle.
The girl’s cold stare sent a chill down Doctor Zhao’s spine.
At this time, Phoebe suddenly rushed up, grabbed Claire’s arm, and slapped her face hard.
The slapping sound echoed in the hospital.
Caught off guard, Claire staggered two steps back. Then she raised her eyes, her eyes murderous. “Are you looking for death?!”
Phoebe yelled hysterically. “I know that you hate Grandpa for not acknowledging you, so you are deliberately delaying the operation and want Grandpa to die. You’re so evil!”
“Enough! Stop it!” Allen stood between the two of them, glaring at Claire. “Claire, if something really happened to your grandpa, don’t… blame me for being ruthless to you!”
The nurse took the opportunity to push Evans into the operating room.
The chaos finally ended, and they waited outside the operating room.
Claire leaned lazily against the wall with a leg slightly bent, her eyes lowered, and her cheek red from the slap. She was expressionless, but there was something chilly about her and no one dared to approach her.

Dr. Zhao was holding the forceps, taking the fragments out of Evans’s stomach and lungs, and then sutured the wound.
Just when everything was going well, a stream of blood suddenly spewed from inside Evans’s body and splashed directly on his face.
The nurses hurriedly took hemostatic pads and stuffed them into Evans’s body, but the blood poured out like a fountain and the bleeding couldn’t be stopped at all.

Dr. Zhao was sweating profusely and his hands were trembling.

“Hurry up, get the blood out!”

A nurse was holding a blood drawing tube.
