Chapter 1036: Zi’s Assets
Dr. Dolittle took out his portable computer and clicked several buttons on it. Instantly, a series of formulas and images from the display screen were projected onto the wall.
“The principle of a ‘Gravitational Construct’ is to form an electromagnetic field on the surface of the target’s body to amplify the effect of geomagnetic force. At present, this concept has only been preliminarily tested in the Pentagon. I can’t believe Skynet has already applied it in actual combat…”
“The explosive ability displayed by the T-1000 at the end of the fight, which I named ‘Overload’, is done by forming a protective shield on the surface of the body in an instant with electrical pulses of 500%-700% above the normal power level, and greatly exciting the liquid metal ions in the Terminator, both of which consume a considerable amount of energy reserves. To be exact, every time the T-1000 used ‘Gravitational Construct’, it’ll consume about 3% of its total energy reserves, while ‘Overload’ will consume about 10% to 15% of its energy reserves.”
“So, my suggestion is to bait the T-1000 into unleashing these hidden powers as often as possible. That will make your job much easier.”
Sheyan was reminded of the appearance of the T-1000 during ‘Overload’ and the marked increase to its all-round attributes — this power was truly amazing. The T-1000 had evidently run away after assessing the battle situation. If Sheyan was by himself, the Terminator may very well had used this ability to retaliate instead…. With this in mind, Sheyan could not help asking himself if he could withstand the terrible impact! If he could not, wouldn’t the prey become the hunter instead?
Dr. Dolittle naturally took away with him the wreckages of the T-910s and the undercover TOK715 Terminators. When it came to these wreckages, he displayed a zeal and tirelessness akin to necrophilia. The extreme joy on his face when he laid hands on the wreckages was definitely genuine. But, his reaction was understandable. If he did not have some fanaticism in this respect, how could he have become the world’s top scientist in his previous life?
Dolittle had only left for a short while when a sudden thought rose in Sheyan’s mind. Using the excuse that his injuries from the fight were acting up, he quickly retreated to his room and lay down. But soon after, he could already hear the voice of Mogensha coming from downstairs.
“Oh, it’s you, my dear Zi. What did you come here for? Is something the matter?”
“I’m looking for Seaman,” answered Zi in her usual cool and composed way.
Sheyan’s relaxed mind turned sharp at once. He looked around in a panic, ready to jump out of the window. But in the end, he merely sighed. He knew that, what must come, will come — this disaster could not be avoided. He could only fall back down onto the bed, pretending to be in extreme pain.
Before long, Zi came to his room. Her tall, graceful figure, which always contained a mysterious charm, stopped at the door.
“Are you asleep, Seaman?” she whispered.
Sheyan coughed twice, then deliberately slurred his words when he replied. “Mmm. What’s the matter, Zi?”
Zi pushed open the door to Sheyan’s room, then went in and sat down at his bedside. Looking up from Sheyan’s current perspective, Zi was indeed beautiful. Her legs were full and round, and yet they retained a tempting elasticity. Sheyan had the urge to trace their beautiful curves with his hands.
“You’re not feeling well?”
Zi’s words contained a touch of gentleness. She stretched her hands to caress Sheyan’s face with her fingers, then moved them to his temples and started gently massaging him.
“Does this make you feel better?”
Zi’s fingers were soft and delicate, and carried a touch of refreshing coldness. As the distance between the woman and him shortened, Sheyan could smell her subtle fragrance in the air, heated by her body temperature. Melody’s smell would always leave in him the impression of a spring-like freshness and vitality, while Zi’s smell was like the fragrance of the night willow herb in a hot summer night, burning him with desire.
The force applied by Zi’s fingers was just right as they massaged Sheyan’s temple in a steady rhythm. Therefore, although Sheyan was only pretending to be hurt, he was now so comfortable he was almost moaning under the careful care of this beautiful woman.
After massaging for a while – probably because her posture was a bit uncomfortable – Zi was not shy of pillowing Sheyan’s head on her thighs. The skin on the back of Sheyan’s neck came into contact with the cool and delicate black stockings there, while the back of his head could feel the amazing elasticity of her thighs. Coupled with the warm fragrance of the woman seeping into his nostrils and the mesmerising, comfortable pressing on his forehead, Sheyan was drunk with pleasure.
Zi suddenly asked in a nonchalant way. “The Elf you summoned with the Ukiyo-e….she should like you very much?”
Sheyan’s nerves instantly tightened! The main part is finally here! The tension in his nerves definitely could not spread to his muscles. Why would Zi make the sacrifice of placing Sheyan’s head on her thighs, if not to enable her to verify the truth of his words?
Sheyan immediately smiled in a relaxed manner and said, “You mean Melody Sunstrider? We’ve actually known each other for a long time and have experienced many things together, including life and death situations. Reef and Mogensha should’ve mentioned some of them… It’ll be strange if she has no feelings for me after all that.”
Sheyan understood well that the highest skill in telling lies was to slip in half a lie in ten truths.
After listening to Sheyan’s explanation, Zi remained silent for a while. She then snorted coldly.
“Quite the chick magnet, aren’t you.”
“No way!” Sheyan chuckled bitterly.
Zi suddenly stared at Sheyan, but said nothing. However, a feeling of lust pervaded the air. Sheyan was leaning on Zi’s long legs, so their postures were very intimate, with Sheyan inevitably in the weaker position. He could feel his breathing, as well as Zi’s, getting heavier. Their bodies were slowly attracting each other….
Suddenly, Zi buried her head and kissed Sheyan on the lips. At that moment, all Sheyan could think of was the devilish purple lipstick she used. A fire rose in him. He could feel himself being enveloped by the warm fragrance of a woman. The gentle sensation of her lips and tongue threatened to melt him in their softness.
But soon Sheyan, lying on his back, realised that he was in such a passive position. He felt like he had been forcefully kissed by a woman. He could not help feeling like he had to defend his dignity as a man. So, he reached out and put his arms around Zi’s waist. Zi’s posture at that moment had resulted in a slight patch of bare skin showing around her waist. The sensation Sheyan felt on his hands was a smooth as a baby’s bottom.
Sheyan moved his hands up. Zi immediately trembled all over. Sheyan’s hands had spread a heat to her entire body like magic, making it hard for her to breath. Her body became tense. Sheyan issued a satisfied grunt as his hands tightly grasped the two astonishingly bouncy peaks he had long coveted. As soon as Sheyan grabbed them, soft flesh squeezed out of the cracks between his fingers. A soft moan escaped Zi’s throat….
At that instance, Zi’s rigid body softened like a punctured balloon. Her body lay powerlessly on top of Sheyan as an indescribable moaning sound escaped from her nostrils.
But right that moment, they heard the sound of footsteps. The footsteps sounded heavy yet feeble, near yet far — they should be the sound of Dolittle’s footsteps. Zi suddenly jolted awake like she was having a dream and jumped up away from Sheyan with a red face. She looked back and gave Sheyan a fierce glare, then leaped out of the window.
Less than five seconds after she left, Dolittle, who was gone earlier but had returned, knocked lightly on the door.
“I’ve made another important discovery after studying the wreckages, so I can only disturb your rest once again.”
Sheyan sighed. He complained in his heart that you’re disturbing not my rest, but my sexual life! However, Dolittle’s action was beyond reproach; he was merely performing his duty diligently! So, Sheyan could only swallow his grievance and suppress the fury in his heart.
He smiled with some difficulty and said, “It’s okay. You must be bringing good news this time, right?”
Dolittle appeared very excited as he said, “I am! Skynet has made a huge error — it had programmed a read-only attribute into the chips of these infiltrating Terminators, but it had also attached an emotional program which produces anger. The two actually contradict each other. When the robots gain emotions, they will inevitably think and explore for themselves! This is especially so when the emotion injected by Skynet is anger! It is the easiest for an angry entity to break through the emotional barrier!”
“By taking advantage of this, I successfully researched their energy systems. The same way that learning how to drive stick will enable you to know how to drive an auto car, I managed to comprehend the way the energy system of the T-1000 works!”
After that, Dolittle showed him a candybar mobile phone.

“This is a phone I remodeled into a detector. This baby has three functions. First, there will be an indicator on the mobile phone’s LCD screen if the T-1000 is within 500 meters of it. Second, it can accurately display the amount of energy left in the T-1000. Third, it can make phone calls.”
The third function left Sheyan speechless. Perhaps that was Dolittle’s little sense of humour. They had a pleasant conversation afterwards and said goodbye after having a few beers.
