Chapter 1037: The Shy Melody
Mr. Dolittle seemed very happy; to him, there was nothing that filled him with more joy than to master a new field of knowledge. In Mr. Dolittle’s view, any undiscovered knowledge was an invaluable treasure, so it was naturally a pleasure to watch his wealth accumulating.

She happened to see Sheyan’s vulgar expression at that instant. It shocked her beyond words, as if she had seen a stranger.
Sheyan, who was immersed in his fantasy, immediately bounced off the bed and asked in embarrassment, “W…What’s the problem, Melody?
Melody stared at Sheyan in surprise.
“The expression on your face just now was so strange. It’s terrible.”
Sheyan laughed drily a few times and replied, “I was hit on the head by the T-1000 in the battle this evening, and now I’m all dizzy. My mind keeps drifting away. There’s nothing strange about that.”

“According to police investigation, the weapon used by the murderer was similar to a bayonet. Every member of the Simpson family was killed in one blow, including their youngest daughter who was in the cradle. They suspect that the murderer may be a retired veteran or a professional hired assassin. “I’m not sure either,” answered Sheyan, “But we mustn’t relax the surveillance around “Ms. Adess’ family”. Since the T-1000’s action is based on efficiency, I think it’ll take a certain amount of time to collect information first in order to plan for the optimised routes and actions.”
At that moment, Reef’s voice transmitted over from the party communication channel.
“Boss, the people from Five Wheels are here.”
Sheyan contemplated something for a moment before he replied, “Okay, I’ll be there soon.”
Since they already have an agreement in place, the people of Five Wheels no longer hid themselves from Party Ace. Boji, Corina, Hill and the one who negotiated with them before this, Mr. Darkness, appeared one by one before them. Corina did not look too friendly; there was a bitter resentment in her eyes. But when she saw Zi, she immediately shrank back in fear behind her teammates like a mouse that had seen a cat.

We’ll help one of you complete your Awakener advancement mission first, then you guys will help me with my mission. After that’s done, we’ll do the last Awakener advancement mission.
