“Excellent,” Sheyan stood up and narrowed his eyes like a hunter staring at a prey that had fallen into his trap. He stared closely at the images of Rocky’s group on the monitor. They had obviously figured out the patterns with most of the traps, and were thus starting to pick up the pace.
In truth, it was already really fortunate that Sheyan could delay Rocky’s unbelievably powerful team for so long. He could not have done it without the help of the storyline character forces and weapons.
Sheyan smirked seeing the rapid progress of Rocky’s team, “They finally seem to be getting impatient. That’s perfect. This is the best time for us to make a move!”

Five minutes before that, in an underground tunnel three kilometers to the south, Carlos could be heard shouting angrily.
“Damn it, what the hell is happening!? Why is the time limit suddenly reduced to only ninety minutes!? That’s….That’s not fair!”
Of the four remaining members of the hired “Life and Death” party, only two came underground together with Rocky’s party. The other two, who remained outside, were a sniper and an explosive expert. “That’s where I feel something’s amiss. The last time I fought with Bind, he was going up against my Gungnir with bare hands! And then we started fighting.”
“That is weird,” Steel File also expressed his concern after listening to Rocky, “I think the Divine Servant who held Apophis might have been attacked, and that’s why Bind rushed over there like his ass was on fire. Rocky smiled wryly. He also felt that there was a problem with his assumption.
Steel File stared at Rocky with a frown and yelled at him. “Our mission now is to get rid of Dr. W!! The reward for this mission is very generous. Your heart is in turmoil, Rocky. How could you be fit to wield Gungnir if you don’t have indomitable will and the courage to break through all obstacles?”
Rocky took a deep breath. “I understand. You’re absolutely right.”
Steel File dashed forward again with his shields up, boldly charging towards a temporary bunker ahead. The roar of machine guns could not slow him down the slightest bit. Facing the terrifying Awakeners, even an official army armed to the teeth fell like dominoes.
But right after the team had conquered the temporary bunker, a dying soldier screamed and pressed a red button. The tunnel in front of them exploded with a deafening roar. Mud and rock rolled down and completely blocked off the tunnel.
The team was shocked. They instantly checked the mission radar and found that if they had to make a detour, they would have to go all the way back to Area F at the very beginning to take another turn!
