Chapter 301: Arrival of a Powerful Enemy
In a mysterious base of the Taichu Group.
If there were to be any outsiders present, they would have been able to tell in the shortest amount of time that there were over 100 people present in the place.
Every one of them was some top-notch figure who was of high status in the Taichu Group, and they were definitely far above those outsiders.
They were the true core members of the company, and every one of them emanated an extremely forceful aura about them.
Every single one of them was a formidable martial artist.
The weakest among them were at least cultivators at the National Guardian level. They were a good number of Deity Level and Invincible Vajra Level beings among them as well.
The ones who stood at the very front among all of them were all the people in charge of the entire Taichu Group.
Every single true leader of the clans emanated extremely powerful aura, overwhelming the place.
All of them were in the Celestial Realm.
One could say that despite their corporate image, the power that the Taichu Group packed was almost every bit comparable to goliaths of the likes of the Maoshan Sect, which was backed by ancient heritages.

However, all of those people were looking at an altar not far away with very tense expressions.
Lin Miaoyi, who was dressed in white and looked like some fairy that did not belong among mortals, was among the crowd.
She, at the moment, had no one else around her. However, the gaze of many of those of the younger generation fell upon her.

A woman was kneeling right below the altar at that moment. There was a token gilded in gold hovering above the altar.
“Luo Ying, a member of the younger generation of the Luo Clan, hereby breaks out the token, requesting for someone among the clans to take revenge for my fallen clansmen.”
A rather ferocious expression was seen on the beautiful face of that woman.
That woman was none other than Luo Ying.
She was the last surviving member of the entire formerly glorious Luo Clan. All the wealth that the now-dead clan amassed had been picked clean by all the other clans.
One could even say that all members of the other clans present had the blood of those of the Luo Clan on their hands.
Lu Xuan had annihilated the Luo Clan single-handedly, and those people from the other clans were the ones to lay the final nail on the coffin, killing every single other remnant and getting rid of any possibility of the now-dead clan ever rising again.
She was only able to escape that fate that fell onto the other members of her clan because she was a woman.
To put it precisely, she was spared and lived to that day, because there was hardly anyone who considered her to be a threat.
However, all of that ended as she broke out that token of hers.
She knew that all those other amicable, friendly-looking uncles right behind her, at the moment, wanted to see her torn to pieces more than anything.
That was because she was about to summon the true backing to the Taichu Group—the Taichu Path.
All she relied on to do so was the token that she had just broken out. It was an artifact that every clan possessed, but no one had ever thought of using it before.
Every clan had only one, and one representative could only present it. Furthermore, it was a one-time-use thing.
Based on the degree at which Spirit Qi was restored to the world before, they could have only been a National Guardian or a Deity at most, making their way through to Earth via the passage.
However, someone of that level would not have been of much use, as a massive barrage of bullets could easily put them down.
That was why nobody in the crowd ever thought of using the token. At the very least, nobody truly needed to use it until the present day.
Furthermore, none of the clans wanted some reigning figure looming over their heads as well. Even though all of that was inevitable and only a matter of time, they nonetheless wanted to delay such a day from coming as much as they were able to just so that they could become more powerful.
The Taichu Path had been isolating themselves from the world for so long that all those considered chess pieces laid in place all those years ago began to waver in their loyalty.
Those people present came all the way after receiving the news.
As the token was activated on the altar, it slowly began to burn.
The air was shaken for quite a bit before a screen of light was conjured right there and then.
A young man of a slender build, dressed in a lavish azure robe and very handsome, was seen sitting cross-legged on a cushion in the screen of light.
“Young master!” Luo Ying was both surprised and elated to see that young man.
She remembered that young man. She saw him once when she was still young with her elders, knowing that man to be their most powerful backer in the Taichu Path of the current generation.
She had no idea of just how high the status of someone like that would be; she only knew that her elders told him that the man was the Sacred Son of Taichu Path, Yan Han.
Despite being separated by a screen, the upper echelon members of the Taichu Group were still able to sense that faint pressure emanating from within.
That was not some tangible pressure but one resulting from mental overpowering by a superior cultivator.
Such mental pressure was capable of transcending time and space.
“So it was you who called for my attention?” Yan Han asked. His voice thick and supple, yet somewhat cold.
“It is me indeed, young master,” Luo Ying elaborated her predicament, which, no doubt, included the matter of the Luo Clan’s assets being picked clean by all the other clans.
The ones in charge of the other clans of the Taichu Group, who were not all that far away behind her, naturally sported glum expressions.
They all regretted not cutting down every last one of the members of that now-dead clan, as that would have made sure no one else knew about that.
“Lu Xuan?” Yan Han frowned, and his eyes had an eerie glint to them.
He did not care about the Luo Clan’s assets being picked clean by the others. All of that wealth was there for the picking anyway, and all of those people in charge served him anyway.
He deemed all of them to be his lowly servants, and he paid no heed to winners of such dog-eat-dog contests.
Yan Han extended his hand, placing it on that screen right before him. Flames burst out of his hand at the very second he touched the screen.
The flames were conjured out of nowhere, and they were not true flames, but flames conjured by the laws governing the world at present.
Yan Han was able to faintly see the layers of chains shackling the world at the moment.
“You really did it, Liu Bowen.”
Yan Han recalled that it was none other than Liu Bowen, who caused him and his peers to be locked in such prison worlds where they were not allowed to emerge. The man who changed the history of cultivation for the entire planet.
All of them still had to suffer the shackling that Liu Bowen laid in place, even in the present day.
Yan Han activated his Spiritual Qi quickly to put out the flames, but at the same time, he gave up any thoughts of emerging to Earth. The world had yet to allow cultivators of his level to enter.
“No matter. I shall send someone to Earth, and you best prepared to receive the envoy,” Yan Han paused and continued.
“Indeed!”
The persons-in-charge all lowered their heads. They had the gall to decimate the dying Luo Clan back, but they certainly did not have the guts to turn their backs on that esteemed figure.
That man probably was still unable to do anything to them at the moment, but given the state of affairs at the moment, it was only a matter of time before he finally advent, and they would all face their possible doom by then.
The screen of light disappeared before long.
However, it did not take long for that token gilded in gold to dissipate into bits of light on the altar.
A shriveled crone holding a snakehead staff then emerged from the light.
