Chapter 336: Killing Airborne Realm Cultivators Within a Second
Attacks from those three landed squarely on Lu Xuan, but they were unable to even break through his Shield of Vigor at all.
Watanabe Kenjiro watched Lu Xuan in midair. Completely dumbfounded, he said, “How is that possible?”
He had already become powerful enough to easily tear through a battle tank with one swing of his sword or even take on an entire armada on his own. His sword was more than capable of tearing a warship apart.
Such formidable attacks still failed to even leave a dent in Lu Xuan’s defenses.
Watanabe Kanjiro was simply unable to comprehend what had just happened.
Even Arthur and the Mayan shaman, both of whom were standing at his side, were completely dumbfounded. They did not hold back even a little when they attacked. With all three of them joining forces, they were powerful enough to kill, or at least severely damage, even a fighter from the Airborne Realm.
Despite their combined strength, Lu Xuan was still able to easily defend himself against all of their attacks.
“Well, I take it that you all have attacked enough now. Then it’s my turn,” Lu Xuan then said casually, “Watanabe Kenjiro, you claim to be a Sword Saint of Japan. If you can prove that you can withstand one of my attacks, I shall let you leave this place with your life.”
Feeling that he had just been immensely insulted, Watanabe Kenjiro glowered at Lu Xuan with extreme anger. “You sure know how to talk big!”
Despite Lu Xuan’s being far more powerful than what he imagined the other man to be, being unable to withstand even a single hit from Lu Xuan would have been the greatest insult of all.
Besides, nobody has ever claimed before that he was unable to take a single hit from then as well.
As soon as he finished speaking, Lu Xuan immediately made his move.

The blast of the sword aura sliced through the air as it swept at Watanabe Kenjiro at blinding speeds.
Right there and then, he could sense a terrifying presence having got him in their eyes.
The sensation made him feel as if he was a rabbit going up against a tiger.
He wanted to struggle and shake himself free, yet that mysterious power seemed to have placed all of his muscles into lockdown.

The split-second attack felt much longer than it truly was. Having been hit by the attack, Watanabe Kenjiro’s head immediately burst open.
Watanabe Kenjiro, the Sword Saint of Japan, was now dead.
As Lu Xuan shook his head, he said, “Wow, you truly are pathetic. You dared to show up to kill me, yet you are incapable of withstanding one of my attacks.”
“Wait, what? What the hell just happened?” Many people did not realize what just happened back there. The only thing people knew about the situation was that Watanabe Kenjiro, the Sword Saint of Japan, was killed by a single swing of the sword.
All they saw was Lu Xuan generating one blast of sword aura with a single swing of his sword. With that, everything came to an end.
Watanabe Kenjiro’s head split opened in an instant, resembling a watermelon exploding. Many shrieked at the sight. While they were only watching from afar, everyone was nonetheless very frightened by what Lu Xuan just did.
The scene unfolding before them was not a scene from some Hollywood sci-fi or action film playing out before them after all.
It was true; bloodshed was inevitable.
When Lu Xuan turned his gaze towards Arthur and the Mayan shaman, they both immediately felt their hairs standing on end.
Even if it cost them their lives, neither of them would have believed that Lu Xuan had gotten so powerful before they arrived.
When they first got the news, it was through a message saying that the US government intended to deploy a massive army to work in tandem with the two of them to take out Lu Xuan.
They deemed that, even if he had developed an unbelievable amount of power, Lu Xuan could never win against several of the world’s most formidable fighters or even a massive force of several soldiers taking him on.
They deemed that they would have surely been able to kill him, as long as they were able to completely surround him.
Any of them would have suffered the same fate if they were in his place.
No one expected him to truly throw a single blast of the Advent of the Thunder Dragon and easily take out that elite force that was about to ambush him. The attack was so terrifying that he destroyed the White House as well, instantly killing even the President of the United States of America in the process.
Nobody ever imagined that Lu Xuan would be such a ferocious monster.
He also just cut down Watanabe Kenjiro, the Sword Saint of Japan, right where he stood.
The man’s powers were such that he definitely was not the weakest of the three, nor was he any weaker when compared to Airborne Realm fighters in general.
Even so, he was still reduced to a mere insect in front of Lu Xuan. That fact alone was enough to shock them all.
If they knew how terrifying Lu Xuan truly was, none of them would have dared to even consider taking him on in the first place; it did not matter whether there was some prize for defeating him.
Lu Xuan turned his eyes at the Mayan shaman, who immediately sensed a terrifying aura. It was the same as what Watanabe Kenjiro experienced moments ago.
That force seemed to have instantly put him in a complete lockdown.
‘Run!’
That was the only thought that came to the Mayan shaman at that very moment. He bolted in the other direction almost instantly.
However, Lu Xuan simply raised his hand and swung the sword again, bringing a huge blast of terrifying sword aura at the Mayan shaman. As the attack sliced through the air, it was so terrifying that one could even see the air being cleaved apart when the attack traveled.
The Mayan shaman roared, and a mystical force constructed a Mayan ziggurat around him.
The ziggurat enveloped him tightly and protected him. This was his most powerful measure for defense. Ever since he mastered the technique, nobody has ever been able to penetrate it.
However, the ziggurat did not manage to hold out for more than a split second before Lu Xuan’s sword aura attack. The ziggurat began to crumble in an instant.
The sword aura attack hit the Mayan shaman right away, cleaving him in half.
It took only a split second to render the Mayan shaman, who was seen by the Native Americans to be their guardian god, killed by Lu Xuan’s sword.
It was yet another kill that took only a second.
Everyone was stunned and thoroughly frightened, especially the countless people who were watching the battle live.
It was especially so with the cultivators, who were all completely shocked to the core.
It was back to the time when Lu Xuan went about his killing spree all over again.
Lu Xuan had been the best of the best before his disappearance. Back then, he was only an Airborne Realm cultivator.
Yet, the two who were so easily killed by his hands were also guaranteed to be Airborne Realm cultivators.
Based on conventional logic, it could be said that they were both at Lu Xuan’s level.
Despite that, they both looked utterly helpless before him.
That fact alone meant that he had undoubtedly surpassed may cultivators would have thought to be the limit.
There was simply no use running at the moment as well; Lu Xuan was just too powerful.

The holy light he clad himself with grew stronger with every single virtue he worded, bringing his aura to its full power by the time he finished reciting all eight of them.
When looked at from afar, he looked as if he was enveloped in boundless holy light. Each of the eight virtues transformed into eight specters surrounding him.
All the holy light around him coalesced into a gigantic sword measuring tens of meters in height, which was then brought down.
It came crashing down in front of Lu Xuan.
Lu Xuan simply extended his hand and grabbed at the sword with ease, breaking that frighteningly bright blade on the spot and dispersing the attack into specks of light.
