Chapter 371: Very Violent, Very Terrifying
Australia was its own continent separated from the other continents by a vast ocean. Due to their human forces being little more than average, the continent’s cultivation forces lacked both technological advancement and strength. As such, the place was targeted by the forces of the Myriad Demon Valley.
When the Myriad Demon Valley forces were mobilized, they ended up taking over almost all of Australia in just a single night.
By the time the human forces learned what happened, it was too late for them to do anything. Australia was turned into a paradise of the monsters.
Back in Lu Xuan’s past life, the incident was known in the later era as the Demon’s Rebellion.
However, that would have only happened over a dozen years later.
It was only then that the forces of Myriad Demon Valley became truly ferocious.
They had enough power amongst their forces to even stand a chance against all of humanity.
The incident also led to the culmination of the Human Alliance, which was when humanity realized that they were no longer the only intelligent race. Other intelligent races could exist somewhere in the universe.
If humans were to remain segregated by national borders, there was no doubt that they would eventually be doomed.
As such, the Human Alliance came to Earth in the shortest period of time.
From what Lu Xuan remembered, however, that happened at a very late stage of the era.
In the current era, the demons were considered to be a relatively manageable threat.
Lu Xuan’s reincarnation created the butterfly effect, resulting in even more events occurring. At that point, he was used to it.
Lu Xuan knew by looking at the expression of the two before him, that it was indeed the Myriad Demon Valley’s work.
As such, he was able to tell that all the incidents and happenings caused by the demons as of late, was most probably backed by the forces of the Myriad Demon Valley.
Lu Xuan casually said, “Yeah, looks like it.”
“It didn’t matter if I was able to recall it in time or not. Damn, I can’t believe that the old dragon came out and acted like he owned the place. He should’ve just remained training and bidding its time. To me, it looks like he truly has a death wish.”
Lu Xuan disliked the demons in general. The humans of the current era hardly knew anything about what was about to happen. Armed with the knowledge of later eras back in his past life, however, Lu Xuan had a basic concept of things; he knew he had to be on guard against the demons.
Over a hundred million people died when the forces of Myriad Demon Valley took over Australia and established the nation of demons. Even the most pacifistic of those holier-than-thou fools had a hard time claiming that humans and demons could coexist in peace; to them, humans needed to understand what the demons were going through and some such.
That was because things then differed from how the white, far-left as**oles were yapping away irresponsibly, acting as if they had the moral high ground. They couldn’t be threatened; the worst thing that could happen to such people was being scolded and insulted by the public.
In his past life, anyone who dared to side with the demons would probably end up being beaten to death after all.
That Demon Rebellion alone resulted in over a hundred million human casualties. Over a billion of them were killed by the demons, be it directly or indirectly.
There were more than three billion people who were directly related to the demon’s victims. As such, anyone yapping away irresponsibly would ultimately be killed.
Things were completely different from how things were with the white, far-leftists who were all talk and no action.
What happened between the humans and the demons was something that had the survival of the respective species on the line. It had nothing to do with whether someone was good and evil.
Heroes of one side were the sworn enemies of the other.
To countless humans, the old dragon of the Myriad Demon Valley was a ruthless killing machine, yet it was the very hero who ushered about the age of the demons.
The Earth was too small, and everyone felt the clench even with only the humans being the only truly intelligent beings. With the demons joining the fray, the place would be rendered even smaller and tighter.
“How dare you insult the great ancestor! You’ll pay with your blood!”
That middle-aged man was furious after hearing Lu Xuan’s words from earlier. He revered the great ancestor as if he were a god, so he refused to let anyone insult his idol.

With a shout, the middle-aged man burst with powerful demonic qi all over him. A blade manifested in his hand, with the flash of his blade slicing the air in a dazzling display.
The aura of a Divine Treasure Realm cultivator making his move shook the entire Yunxuan Villa right there and then.
Had it not been for their ability to sense that Lu Xuan was being in charge of the place, massive numbers of fighters would most probably show up in the scene immediately.

That middle-aged man did not expect his brilliantly frightening move to be blocked with just two fingers from the opponent.

The middle-aged man immediately backed away in a hurry, stopping only after having moved over 100 meters back. That one burst of attack depleted his massive reserves of demonic power by over 30 percent.

That middle-aged man panted furiously. The gaze that he cast at Lu Xuan looked like that of an ancient, ferocious beast.
“How? How is this possible?”
His mumbling rendered the fat woman rather confused on the spot.
She knew just how powerful her companion was; he was just as strong as her, maybe even a tad stronger.
There was no doubt that the middle-aged man was an extremely capable fighter at the Divine Treasure Realm.
However, none of that mattered. Not only did the attack fail to do any damage, the one using the move was rendered extremely frightened. From the looks of things, he was truly frightened instead of simply acting as if he was.
She turned her eyes to Lu Xuan, finding the man with loose muscles all over him looking like something with countless openings.
It was only after she was slapped and sent flying that she learned, without a doubt, that there was more to Lu Xuan that meets the eye.
Then again, she was just unable to believe what just happened to her companion. She wondered why was he was so frightened.
She wondered just what was it that allowed the human standing before her to seem so terrifying.
That middle-aged man’s gaze remained locked on Lu Xuan, yet it was filled with a visible tinge of utter terror.
“Dammit, this is really gonna kill us. Just what the hell is he?!”
That middle-aged man was nearly frightened to death. His forte lied not in his sword skills but his awakened mental powers.
Common folks would only be able to see Lu Xuan, whose muscles looked loose and untrained, to be just another common young man.
However, he was able to see into Lu Xuan’s mind, which was guarded by a golden dragon.
That was a mental phenomenon that he had never encountered before.
His gut feeling was telling him to run immediately, as staying around for any longer would only lead to his demise.
Lu Xuan casually asked, “What’s wrong? Didn’t you say something like you were gonna teach me a lesson on your great ancestor’s behalf? What are you just standing there for?” His words were lined with certainty.
“What happened?” That fat woman came before that middle-aged man in vast strides.
“Run! Now!” the middle-aged man growled in a low-pitched tone as if he was a beast that had been injured. He turned around and glowered at Lu Xuan, looking as if he desperately wanted to tear the young apart.
That fat woman trusted the middle-aged man’s judgment and immediately bolted out of the formation.
They bolted all the same, despite the formation being filled with a sword aura that could have easily killed them if the attacks managed to hit them.
They ran all the same, despite the potential dreadful cost incurred.
She trusted in the gut feeling of her companion; for her, such a gut feeling was more important than anything else. They both knew very well just how many great dangers they managed to evade ever since they teamed up, all due thanks to the middle-aged man’s gut instincts.
“Tryna run away, huh?” With a smirk, Lu Xuan extended his hand.
A huge hand made from qi instantly appeared in the sky. As they tried to escape, the hand lashed out furiously and yanked both of them back to where they were before.
