Chapter 435: The Old Dragon is Recuperating
Everyone saw how ferociously that bloodied old dragon behaved under the sun.
Countless sea monsters in the area gathered around and surrounded the old dragon.
Roar!
The old dragon roared again. Everyone saw the scales all over its body beginning to break piece by piece; this was an effect of the world’s shackles.
Everyone seemed to be able to see a huge hand in the world around it pressing down on that old dragon, preventing it from moving about.
The scales all over that dragon’s body were resisting the terrifying pressure surrounding it.
That terrifying aura around the old dragon that sent shivers down the spines of many began to gradually dissipate before long. The scales all over its body no longer broke, and the beast was no longer covered in blood.
It seemed as if the beast had finally gotten used to the limitations placed on it by the world’s shackles.
The old dragon then dived into the sea shortly afterward, wriggling about for a bit before disappearing into the deep sea.

Many agreed with that opinion, given that many felt themselves to have suffered calamities and misfortune that came out of nowhere. There was simply no sense in blaming that old dragon because it had always been a monster. It was only natural for a monster to go about killing people.
However, things were different with Lu Xuan getting involved. Many felt that they finally found an outlet to vent out their frustration and displeasure.
All manner of accusations and condemnations flooded the internet.
Lu Xuan had no idea of what was happening. He was simply doing all he could training in isolation to make breakthroughs to kill that old dragon and be rid of the looming menace once and for all.
He was totally oblivious to the fact that some people on the internet were stoking the flames, causing countless to blame the waves of sea monster attacks on him. Such people even demanded that he come out and face consequences for what he had done.
Despite all of the arguments on the internet, they nonetheless paid a lot of attention to that old dragon. All kinds of technology available to humanity were used to detect that old dragon’s presence.
One top cultivator vaguely saw that old dragon swimming nearby in the deep sea. While the cultivator was utterly frightened, the old dragon hardly even batted an eye on them. It was as if the beast had more important matters to attend to.
There was a submarine that caught images of the old dragon appearing in the Mariana Trench. Nobody was sure whether it was good or bad luck, but the submarine found countless sea monsters flocking around that old dragon as it appeared. All of the resulting information was then used to dig some undersea ruins in a frenzy.
That submarine was soon discovered by that old dragon after the images were taken. The beast then opened its mouth and spat out a water arrow, which quickly destroyed the entire underwater craft.
No one knew what that old dragon was up to in the Mariana Trench or what it was doing as of late.
The old dragon’s actions did not seem to fit the perception and opinions of many, who deemed that it was out to seek revenge against Lu Xuan.
If the old dragon was out to seek Lu Xuan, it should have headed right away to the Min Province where he was.
Even, that old dragon was traveling all over the place. Many government agencies had footage of its appearance taken by all kinds of powerful cultivators.
Furthermore, it seemed that it did not mind whatever the humans were doing either.

People from all over the world could speculate that the seemingly simple feat of emerging out of the Myriad Demon Valley into the human world through a spatial fissure alone caused that old dragon grievous injuries.
Despite its primary target being Lu Xuan and wanting nothing more than to tear the man apart, it still did not act right away.
The old dragon had instead spent its days looking for mystical fruits in the deep sea to recover from its injuries. Whatever caused all of the old dragon’s injuries all over the old dragon was of something of unnervingly high level.
Despite that old dragon’s formidable powers, it did not manage to be rid of all of that residual energies on its body right away to make its powers grow exponentially.
Pieces of both good and bad spread all over the world before long.
The good news is that the old dragon was grievously injured. That was no doubt good news to the nations all over the world, as well as humanity as a whole.
However, the bad news was that that old dragon had been looking for ways to recover. To everyone’s dismay, its efforts seemed to be paying off; that was made evident from the fact that it was recovering well.
That piece of news caused many from all over the world worry. Even the people of the Heavenly Palace, who had all been the most confident of Lu Xuan’s plans in the first place, could not help but feel worried as well.
If that old dragon was out for blood, the ones from the Heavenly Palace would definitely be its first targets.
As that old dragon grew stronger, governments from all over the world did whatever they could to find it.
The beast also demonstrated his extremely formidable powers.
Images and videos of many battles fought in the deep sea were sent back to the nations all over the world.
No matter how meticulously designed or well-built the nations’ submarines were, none of them could even withstand even one hit from that old dragon.
