Lu Xuan wore a focused expression as golden Spiritual Aether raged all about him. That golden arrow then left the bow explosively, heading straight for that rift.

As the arrow traveled through the dark of night, it immediately left a trail of blinding golden light in its pather. The arrow then transformed into a golden raven.
The golden raven ignited the space it zipped past, instantly charring every demon in its path to ashes.
Before long, over a thousand demons were reduced to ashes by the arrow.
The arrow then shot right into that rift, bringing about a terrifying explosion on impact. The resulting shockwave turned everything upside down.
The shockwave was so massive that over 100 demons near the right were flipped over and blown to death right away.
One could’ve only imagined just how frighteningly powerful that one single arrow was.
When it came to damage potential alone, that move was every bit as powerful as nuclear weapons.
That was the might of the Sun-downing Arrow of Hou Yi.
The move was derived from the Sun-downing Chant of Hou Yi, which was the top-notch archery method and one of the 99 divine arts.
When practiced to its full potential, the move could literally shoot down the sun from the sky; the arrow could literally destroy a star like the sun with just a single shot.
As soon as the seemingly-endless horde of demons was instantly wiped out, the place became much quieter.
However, an enraged howl was heard from the other end of the rift. It was a collective howl of anger from the demons still on the other side.
“Impossible!”
That Caucasian old man was unable to believe what just happened before him.
He was unable to believe that Lu Xuan actually managed to destroy all those demons with just a single arrow.
Lu Xuan truly had managed to pull off such a feat.
Not only was the Sun-downing Chant of Hou Yi the highest-ranked archery spell, but it also possessed fire elemental properties. It only took a single arrow to crush all malicious beings in its wake.

All of the remaining demons in Hell began to fear Lu Xuan. The remaining demons continued to growl in the distance, but none of them dared to close in on Lu Xuan.

Soon, the Spiritual Aether bow that Lu Xuan held in his hand dissipated into golden blobs of light.
He then slowly walked up to the old man.
That old man’s face had vague traces of scales on his face, which was a sign that he was becoming a devil himself.
That was the last form that many hell summoners had achieved. They would’ve continued being contaminated by the devil qi of Hell as they continued to summon the demons. Eventually, they became a demon themselves.
The demons were a branch of the devils, whose influence was extremely contagious.

As such, the effect was even more pronounced among the Hell summoners because they were all humans. Unless they were of some special bloodline, there was no way for any of them to avoid becoming a demon themselves.

The scales on that old man had reached all the way to his neck, which indicated that he was at a significant stage of becoming a demon.
However, many hell summoners didn’t see that to be an issue since almost all of them worshipped high-level demons like gods.
As far they were concerned, becoming a demon was some kind of reward, not a punishment.
It was just like how clerics became angels upon being accepted by God.
“There’s no way for you to have survived. That explosion killed even the likes of Ao Chen. You couldn’t possibly have survived!” That old man was in utter disbelief.
Although the old man saw Lu Xuan’s survival to have been surreal, it was not what terrified him the most. What did terrify him the most was how frighteningly powerful Lu Xuan had become.
Lu Xuan was terrifying enough just several years ago, having been lauded as the top expert in the world even back then.
There was no doubt that Lu Xuan came back even more powerful than before; he had to have been at least ten times more powerful than he was back then.
A massive horde of demons would have given armed forces a massive headache, yet Lu Xuan made short work of them all on his own.
To make matters worse for the old man, he appeared invincible in the process.
This man was able to actually destroy the entire horde by attacking as if it was nothing.

Lu Xuan casually asked, “Seriously, what’s so impossible about it?”
“Tell me who you’re affiliated with, and I’ll grant you a swift death. Otherwise, prepare to die a very horrible death.”
Upon hearing what Lu Xuan said, the old man then grimaced and shouted, “Oh you won’t see me dead, Lu Xuan. Instead, you’ll be the one to die today. I don’t care if you’re some legend, or if your talents are unmatched in history. Your legend will end here!”
As the old man roared, his entire body shook slightly.
He roared as he performed a seal, causing the devilish power to rage all over him before being siphoned right away to the rift.
That rift then grew to twice its former size.
Lu Xuan shouted, “Then it looks like you have a death wish.”
Immediately after he finished speaking, his hand quickly clamped around the old man’s neck.
“Hahahaha, too late!”
That old man laughed away maniacally as if he had just lost his mind.
A terrifying aura was then unleashed from that rift. A pair of massive hands were then seen extending from the rift, grabbing at the edges. A massive demon from Hell climbed out of the rift before long, measuring at over 10 meters in height.
“It’s a troll.”
Lu Xuan took one look at that massive creature from Hell that was covered with black scales from top to toe. His expression turned serious as he saw the creature; there was no doubt that it was a troll among the demons.
The troll was tall and very strong.
Roar!
That troll then let out a deafening roar that shook its surroundings, causing the entire place to violently tremble.
