Lu Diandian cautiously glanced at her father before asking, “Dad, could Senior Lu actually defeat Yan Han?”
Lu Xiu replied, “It’s hard to say for sure, but there’s hope with him. If he truly is capable of getting this one thing done, it would be exactly as he said; it would buy us quite a bit of time. Pull out all the stops. Get ready to move to Earth.”
Currently, the environment on Earth would’ve only allowed people below the Eighth Tier of the Divine Treasure Realm to advent. Those at the ninth tier and above would’ve needed to pay a steep price for doing so.
However, there was hardly a problem for them, as the only fighter who got to the Ninth Tier of Divine Treasure Realm was Lu Xiu.
Everyone else was basically at the Eighth Tier of Divine Treasure Realm or below, which meant that they wouldn’t have had trouble getting to Earth at their current levels.
They went all out just to escape persecution from the Taichu Path.
Lu Diandian immediately added, “By the way, dad, Earth right now is truly a splendid place for cultivation. I feel like I’m going to make a breakthrough even though I haven’t been training there for long.”
“Indeed. It is now a golden age. We need to make sure that we’re not falling behind,” Lu Xiu’s mind became clearer upon hearing what his daughter said. He had to make sure that every single one of them was moved to Earth.
The Sanxian Sect could grow one step further after getting to Earth.
He might just be able to make a leap great enough to be half a step into the Divine Transformation Realm by then.
If that were to happen, he would’ve probably stood a chance even when facing off against those of the Taichu Path.
The biggest factor right now, however, was whether or not Lu Xuan was able to buy them enough time.

After the sect’s lair was moved away from the mountains years ago, hardly anyone remained in the mountains aside from the skeleton crew of essential guard personnel.
At that moment, however, people were seen everywhere outside the place instead.
This was all because that was where the Taichu Meeting was about to take place.
As the most monstrous super sect in the Blessed Enclave, the meeting organized by the Taichu Path had garnered the attention of countless people. Everyone had to at least give face to the Taichu Path.
The disciples from all manner of clans and sects who were unqualified enough to enter the sect gathered at the foot of the mountains, making the place look extremely rowdy.
One person quietly asked, “You heard that? Someone said that Yan Han himself would be the one hosting the meeting.”
Another person pouted and answered, “How could I not have heard that? The Taichu Path is pulling out all the stops to set Yan Han up to be an even bigger deal. Seems like it will only be a matter of time before Yan Han takes over as sectmaster.”
Many people knew what those of the Taichu Path were doing. They were not idiots after all.
It was not every day that something like that happening in the Blessed Enclave after all.
Someone quietly said, “I heard that the pillar of the Taichu Path will fall eventually.” In response, the crowd became somewhat rowdier.
Nobody imagined that something like that was possible.
That man referred to as the pillar was already a terrifying being at Divine Transformation Realm, when they were all forced to hole up in the Blessed Enclave hundreds of years ago.
That man was one of the pillars of the Taichu Path in the Blessed Enclave. They owed the stable development of the sect throughout the years to that man.
Even though it was said that a being at Divine Transformation Realm could live for over 1000 years, that was but an ideal number. Therefore, that man was essentially well past his prime.
One could tell just by counting the years that the news was probably true.
That was why the Taichu Path went to make Yan Han to be a big deal even though they were not completely ready to do so.
Someone noted, “Yan Han may not be at the Divine Transformation Realm right now, but it’ll likely be a matter of time before he reaches it. He was already halfway into the realm a year ago, anyway. His level could be considered immeasurable right now, making him nearly invincible against anyone below Divine Transformation Realm.”
“I don’t think it would take long for Yan Han to make the breakthrough. It would likely take between mere months to at most a few years from now. By then, the Taichu Path would still have a powerful being at the Divine Transformation Realm in charge of things. Even if that man were to pass, the Taichu Path’s status would remain unchanged.”
Many nodded in agreement.
At the level of status and power that the Taichu Path was currently at, having a cultivator in the Divine Transformation Realm being in charge or not would’ve served as the determining factor of the sect’s strength.
Not having a Divine Transformation Realm cultivator being in charge would’ve taken a massive toll on even a sect as powerful as the Taichu Path. Their status of a sacred ground of supreme lineage would’ve fallen to being a common first-rate sect or clan.
Losing some of their status might have not seemed like much, but the status difference between the two was unbelievably massive.
A sacred ground of formidable lineage would’ve been more than enough to equal 10 first-rate cultivation forces in terms of status and resources. In other words, their status was immutable.
In ancient times, it would be akin to forces with living Bodhisattvas or gods being in charge; these beings were renowned all over the world and deemed invincible.
Throughout the past ages, multiple organizations had fallen into decline. Organizations such as the Celestial Master Path, the Maoshan Sect, the WuTang Clan, the Shaolin Temple among all others all had such unreal beings among their ranks.
The founders of such forces had all been extremely renowned beings back in their time, whose names remained in the annals of history.
Even then, they were all reduced from being sacred grounds of supreme lineages to being just first-rate sects or clans all the same.
Such things happened simply because they no longer had beings at the Divine Transformation Realm emerging among their ranks.
As such, no force could afford to make any mistakes in passing down the leader position from one Divine Transformation Realm cultivator to another.
The Taichu Path was undergoing such a succession stage, and it was a very grand event.
One cultivator said in an exasperated manner, “What a shame that we’re not powerful or esteemed enough to witness the meeting inside for ourselves. I heard that the Taichu Alliance is being formed to conquer Earth.”
The event was intended to rally and solidify the powers of all fighters who were aligned with the Taichu Path. This was how they would form that Taichu Alliance.
Someone sighed before they said, “What difference would it make if they let us in? Do you seriously think that we could actually be a part of that?”
“You got a point.”
Many knew that other than to establish the Taichu Alliance, the event was also an opportunity for them to discuss how to split the rewards among themselves.
It was meant to determine how much loot each participating sect or clan would get, including how to divide Earth’s territories.
A man dressed in a Taoist robe and wearing a sword on his back was seen in the crowd, rubbing his hands as he laughed and said, “The Taichu Path, the Taichu Alliance, Yan Han… Hahahaha, boy, nothing short of the biggest deals around.”
It was only then that many noticed that man with a Taoist robe and a sword.
“Isn’t that the Heretic?” Someone recognized the man to be none other than the Heretic, who had been quite the topic of discussion in recent years.
The man looked rather young and shabby. If it had not been for someone witnessing with their own eyes, no one would have been sure that such a shabby young man was known as the Heretic—one of the most powerful fighters among the younger generations.
