Chapter 676: Opening of the Secret Realm of Tianhai City
There was no doubt that without someone to lead them, the remaining tens of thousands of members of the Blood Wolf Pirate scattered.
Lu Xuan killed both of their leaders yet emerged completely unscathed. That fact alone caused each member to suffer a psychological breakdown.

Lu Xuan’s words instantly made all of those in hiding shudder. They knew that Lu Xuan was aware of their presence.
If they chose to remain hidden, they would have probably just angered that extremely terrifying monster known as Lu Xuan.
Furthermore, what Lu Xuan said made sense. All of those surviving pirates were extremely brutal outlaws.
One could only imagine just how much damage these pirates would’ve inflicted if they were allowed to do as they please in the cities.
All of the hidden fighters of the clans then emerged. They had initially been there just to prevent the Blood Wolf Pirate from acting against the other cities once they finished slaughtering the Xu family.
In the end, however, they had to mop up the rest of the pirates instead.
All of the elite guard members of the Xu family who had been sitting on their hands for a long time also moved to chase after the pirates.
Without the Divine Transformation Realm fighters being in charge of things, all the remaining pirates were little more than mere insects by then.
A series of cheers and war cries rang out from all directions. The pirates, all of whom were now cornered and had nowhere else to run, gave it their all and burst. They were getting ready to fight their way out.

Several of the pirates were half a step into the Divine Transformation Realm, yet they were still quickly killed in quick succession by the Great Ancestors of the clans.
Considering that all of them were at the Divine Transformation Realm, the Great Ancestors were absolute killing machines on the battlefield.
They weren’t allowed to even raise their voice at Lu Xuan; they feared that Lu Xuan would target them for doing so. Even so, he was still the only one they were afraid of.
All of the Great Ancestors were still seen as extremely terrifying, top-notch fighters to the average cultivators.
Any single one of them would have been able to turn the tables of the battlefield in their favor, especially when they were so many of them around.
It took them all almost mere moments to crush whatever resistance the surviving pirates were able to put up.
Now that the pirates were no longer able to put up much for a fight, it was only a matter of time before the survivors dropped like flies.
The slaughter went on throughout the entire night, making the citizens of the city fear for their lives.
This battle, which was unlike any other, eventually ended. Every single pirate was killed near the Xu family’s estate, without a single one of them being given a chance to escape.
Tens of thousands of dead bodies marked the casualties that each clan had suffered. Nearly 50 thousand bodies were scattered all over the ground, which was completely covered in blood and the stench of rotting flesh.
It took the members of the Xu family over two weeks to get rid of all of those dead bodies. They even managed to catch numerous practitioners of heretic arts in the process.
There was no doubt that the sight of tens of thousands of bodies lying all over the ground seemed to have come from Hell to common folks. However, some practitioners of the heretic arts saw it as nothing more than a grand feast.
Countless fighters who practiced heretical arts came wanting a part of this so-called “feast”.
One by one, each of these fighters was caught while the Xu family was busy cleaning up the place. This even caused many battles to erupt during this time.
Despite having lost their Great Ancestor, the Xu family still had access to manpower and resources. Going about doing as they pleased near the Xu family’s estate meant that all those practitioners of heretical arts were digging their graves. They were all quickly taken care of before long.

“Despite being known as old monster Lu, I heard that the man was actually very young. Since he’s reached the Divine Transformation Realm at such a young age with such formidable combat capacity, I’m afraid that he isn’t from here. Rather, I believe he is from somewhere else out there.”
Some speculated that Lu Xuan was instead from some other world out there.

Nonetheless, speculations about Lu Xuan’s origins continued all the same. He had caused such a massive commotion, after all. If Lu Xuan were from one of the many cities from that basin, people would’ve begun looking into his origins a long time ago.
Many people grew more curious. “Is he truly from the outside world then? What is the outside world truly like?”
Some people also speculated that Lu Xuan was not from outside the basin, but instead hailed from another content on the other side of the ocean.
People had speculated that on the other side of the Boundless Sea lied another continent with a civilization based on a different type of cultivation.
Many people believed that Lu Xuan was likely from that other continent.
The people began discussing the possibilities of Lu Xuan’s origins for quite some time.
For the Great Ancestors, however, Lu Xuan’s powers were what truly made their skin crawl.
It seemed to them that a dragon had somehow managed to venture inside a pond.
No one knew where this dragon was from. More importantly, Lu Xuan wasn’t very close with nobody from around those parts, which meant that he could do as he pleased. There was no doubt that his presence would’ve messed the state of affairs with the entire Tianhai City and all the cities around it.
The old monster Lu’s renown only increased over time.
Time passed in the blink of an eye. The day when the opening of the Secret Realm of Tianhai City was around the corner.
Tianhai City, which countless people had been talking about at first, became a gathering place for numerous fighters. All of the other cities around the Secret Realm of Tianhai City treated every single opening into this realm as a grand event.
The grand event became even more significant with the presence of one such renowned and talked-about figure like old monster Lu, so much so that many who were initially uninterested in the event came as well.
At that moment, countless fighters lurked around the Xu family of Tianhai City.
