Chapter 715: White Sun Soaring Sutra
After breaking into the sixth tier of the Divine Transformation Realm, he finally stopped and emerged out of isolation.
All of the raging aura coming from him spread outside for only a second before they were all pulled back into his body again, returning to a peaceful state. One couldn’t even tell from just seeing his body that he had been training.
One could’ve imagined just how frighteningly impeccable his control over his powers had become.

He narrowed his eyes and deemed that at such a level of power, neither Zhou Sulong nor Gongsun Yan could even take a single hit from him.
He was formidable enough to not even need to use his Geng Metal Sword or the Chaos Heaven Stabilizer Bell to catch them off-guard. He had become powerful enough to fight them in hand-to-hand combat.
Furthermore, even if those two were at the eighth tier of the Divine Transformation Realm instead of the seventh tier, they still wouldn’t have stood a chance against him.
If he were to use both the Chaos Heaven Stabilizer Bell and the Geng Metal Sword, he could have even caught those at the ninth tier of the Divine Transformation Realm off-guard.
Such combat prowess could’ve been considered the best in the world. Very few people could surpass his level of strength.
“Then again, I guess I’ll have to hold my training for the time being.”
He murmured to himself, vaguely discovering that he had been training at such a rate that his physical body was beginning to fall behind.
While he could still continue making breakthroughs, he wouldn’t be capable of beating those in higher tiers than him as he could before. Instead, he would’ve been no different from an ordinary person when compared to those at the same level as him.
As such, he needed to first finish tempering his physical body. With his physical body becoming more powerful, his overall level of powers would grow further as well.
Tempering his physical body, however, was not something he could get done in a short amount of time. Instead, the entire process would’ve been quite time-consuming.
It took him 10 years for his physical body to reach his first nirvana stage, enabling him to emerge as something entirely different. He saw yet another period where his powers grew by leaps and bounds.
All the other geniuses probably didn’t need to bother with such issues as they had ample time to train. On the other hand, he had not been training long enough. Thus, he didn’t have enough time to temper his physical body.
At his current stage, this was his only chance to complete his first nirvana stage with his physical body. That was an advancement of his state of life and was of utmost importance to further training, so he couldn’t afford to overlook it.
Fortunately, he had so many blood orbs on him at the time, along with tens of millions of mid-tier spirit stones. He had considerably more resources than he had back in his previous life.
The difference between then and now was as massive as the distance between Heaven and Earth.
Compared to his past life, the cultivation environment in his current life was far more conducive. This allowed him to be on par with the sacred sons of the many cultivation forces out there.
It was only naturally for his powers to see frightening growth as he trained.
“I’d need at most a year to complete the nirvana stage.”
While he made his estimation, he could no longer afford to use any more of his physical body’s power. All of his powers needed to continue being dedicated to tempering his physical body. If they were used for something else for even a second, all of his previous efforts would’ve been for nothing.
At that moment, he then remembered a method that he could use. “This is quite troublesome, but it shouldn’t be that big of a deal.”
He was talking about the White Sun Soaring Sutra, which was a peculiar sacred sutra that he acquired back in his past life. As its name suggested, those who practice such a method would allow the powers to skyrocket and soar up to the sun.
Legend has it that in ancient times, a divine sage was enlightened under a divine tree, enabling his powers to soar with just a day. That was how the sutra got its name.
Training and coming to enlightenment under a divine tree for just a single day would’ve allowed common people to reach such a stage. A rate of training like that was deemed nothing short of being utterly shocking.
He had no idea if the story was true, as it all happened such a long time ago. Those were all just myths and legends to people in the current era. Back then, however, all living beings were considered to have been unbelievably formidable.
Those who were capable of surviving such chaotic times might’ve not looked to be that different from humans, but they were still something else altogether. When compared to ordinary humans, their state of life was much higher; it would’ve been like comparing the size of a dragon to that of an ant.
In the later ages, beings like Lu Xuan, who possessed born Taoism aptitude were known as supreme beings throughout the world. Even so, they were still required to go through every step of cultivation.
During the process, they would continuously work to shed their mortal shell. He knew better than anyone else that the process of cultivation would’ve enabled one’s state of life to see advancements into the next stage.
That was the difference between those beings that lacked cultivation aptitude with those that did. The latter was at a very high state of life to begin with. That White Sun Soaring Sutra was created to mimic such a phenomenon, which enabled one’s powers to see explosive growth.
That was something that he came upon by chance in the depths of the cosmos, in a residence that belonged to some exceedingly formidable lone cultivator. He had never used it back in his past life.
That was because he was already a Celestial Lord. Being at such a stage meant that he was already a manifestation of the Great Path itself. Such a sutra that facilitated explosive growth wouldn’t have done him any good.
As such, he put it away after taking a look at it. Even so, now was the best time to have used it as he currently was.
The White Sun Soaring Sutra would’ve resulted in a pseudo-explosive growth state, enabling his powers to see exponential growth. However, as soon as he emerged out of the state of coming to enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree and reaching divinity, his powers would’ve immediately dropped back to where they had once been.
He singled out the White Sun Soaring Sutra because the method was oddly special. It was not like he had no other means of quickly amplifying his powers.
It was just that those other methods usually came at a steep price that hurt one’s foundation, which would’ve jeopardized their future. On the other hand, they wouldn’t have been able to grow one’s powers too much. Most of them could amplify their powers by only one or two sublevels. This made them inferior to the White Sun Soaring Sun, which almost enabled one to reach divinity.
White Sun Soaring Sutra was also different in that while it came at a steep cost, the cost could’ve been mitigated through the use of spirit stones and some other such resources. Having disposal of things like blood orbs, he didn’t need to be afraid of his energy being drained.
