Chapter 809: There’s No Fight I Can’t Win

Their first target was Yun Ling’er. Even though she was targetted for offending many people in the past, most strong cultivators of other worlds had no wish to see such a talented cultivator emerge on Earth.
If Lu Shanshan and Lu Guoguo weren’t taken in by Lin Ziyi of the Holy Nun Gate as her disciples, the monster kings would’ve gone on a full-scale war instead of handling matters in the dark.
Most of the Earth’s cultivators posed no threat to the monster kings as only less than a hundred people had managed to reach the Divine Transformation Realm, with most of them in the lower tier of the realm.
Even if they fought together, they would be single-handedly wiped out by cultivators who were at a higher tier of the Divine Transformation Realm.
It was true that Earth’s cultivators had amazing talent. They were able to break into the Divine Transformation Realm despite the limitations of their world, which made them somewhat better than most of their counterparts in the Tempest Ocean Realm.
No matter how talented they were, however, the time spent cultivating was relatively short. None of them had the power to defeat the top 10% from the Tempest Ocean Realm.
Earth would’ve been devastated if not for Lin Ziyi’s protection. It would be physically impossible for anyone from Earth to shine.
The Earth Federation had been training people to master their own skillset to avenge the dead. About 90% of Earth’s best talents had gathered in Yunxuan Villa for that purpose.
Perhaps most people weren’t concerned about the fight that was about to come. Still, it would’ve been impossible for the Earth Federation to fight back once the cultivators from the Tempest Ocean Realm and the monster kings decided to launch their attack.
If they were putting their hopes in more talents like Yun Ling’er who were emerging to help prevent the war, then they were putting their hopes in the wrong place.

She was also fortunate enough to be taught by Lu Xuan, who was hailed as one of the best; that caused her power to rise even faster than ordinary people. It would’ve taken a thousand years for anyone to reach her stage, but it only took her a day in comparison.
She was the only one who’d met all those conditions.
The cultivation world on Earth was on the brink of destruction. However, Lin Ziyi’s fame had managed to prevent anyone else from becoming popular; nobody had the wits to go against her as of yet.
Still, it wouldn’t take long for someone to notice that Lin Ziyi was no more than a hoax. There was also the fact that nobody was sure if she would fight the whole cultivation world to protect the Earth.
Based on what Lu Xuan knew about Lin Ziyi, she might just abandon Earth’s people to save herself.
Luckily enough, the man wasn’t going to do something as stupid as placing his hope on someone else.
Dragon said, “You mustn’t do that! It’s true that those monster kings deserve to die for killing millions of our kind. They may be the enemy of mankind, but one has to live to exact their revenge! How are you going to avenge the lost souls if you’re dead yourself? Mr. Lu, you’re Earth’s last hope. If anything happens to you, things won’t just end with countless deaths.”
Dragon firmly believed that even a billion lives were worth less than Lu Xuan’s.
Earth was in a bind, and the people had only a few chances left to turn the tide around. In the center of those chances lay either Lu Xuan or the Yunxuan Villa.
That was why Dragon came to the same conclusion as those higher-ups in Earth Federation: as long as Lu Xuan lived, there would be hope.
Lu Xuan stood up and announced, “I get why you’re worried, but aren’t you underestimating me too much? This time, I’ll make everyone realize who’s the ruler of Earth!”

Meanwhile, the internet came together into a single mind and unanimously decided that they had to kill Lightning-Winged Wolf King. The only problem was that human’s nuclear weapons were ineffective against a monster king in the Three Flower Realm.
The problem did not lie in the weapon’s destructive prowess, but rather its incapability to reach the target.
The Lightning-Winged Wolf King was able to intercept the nuclear warheads miles before reaching their target with its Lightning Magic. This was the only way that the weapons could reach was the radiation from the blast.
Unfortunately, a monster on its level would survive any nuclear weapons without sustaining too many injuries, as long as it wasn’t in the center of the blast.
Now that Earth’s most powerful weapon was proven ineffective, the only way to fight a monster in the Three Flower Realm was with another cultivator in the same realm.
As everyone began to worry for their future, they began to leave comments in Lu Xuan’s social media account, begging him to take Lightning-Winged Wolf King down.
Of course, there were also those who belittled Lu Xuan, stating that he didn’t dare to fight the monster.
