Chapter 814: Here Comes Lu Xuan
A wolf that was a few dozens of meters in length and height was resting in the middle of the ruin.

Everyone around the world was cheering on Lu Xuan to defeat Lightning-Winged Wolf King.
They were all waiting for Earth’s most powerful being to join the fight that would erupt very soon. Even though some hiccups occurred in the middle of the battle, the most significant conflict of the century was unavoidable.
Suddenly, a massive object appeared high up in the sky and was gradually increasing its speed as it fell.
In just a few seconds, the object slammed into the ground, which caused it to crack and formed a deep pit.
Everyone now focused their attention on the pit. It wasn’t until the dust finally cleared when they realized the object was a giant rat covered in purple scales. What’s more, the huge rat was being tied down by ropes. It looked like it was on the verge of dying, to the point where moving a single muscle felt like torture. Everyone’s first reaction upon seeing such a rat was, “The Purple Rat King? It’s the Purple Rat King! Lu God is here!”
Everyone knew that Lu Xuan had just subdued the Purple Rat King not too long ago.
If the Purple Rat King was there, then it only meant that their savior was nearby too.
Everyone kept their eyes glued to the screens until they suddenly notice Lu Xuan floating in the sky.
With his arms crossed, the floating man was glaring coldly at the Lightning-Winged Wolf King with murderous intent in his eyes.
The beast, which was resting a moment ago, noticed its enemy’s presence and was now staring back at him.
It was as if the Lightning-Winged Wolf King never felt threatened by the drones that were hovering around. The drones seemed like mere man-made gimmicks to the beast, something that would broadcast to the rest of humanity how it killed Lu Xuan itself.
The Lightning-Winged Wolf King smirked as its entire body trembled. He said, “You’re finally here. Are you ready to die?”
The beast seemed dissatisfied. It was promised that Lu Xuan would die from nuclear explosions; the man’s presence was proof that the plan failed.
The man had survived, completely unscathed.
The beast didn’t linger on the mistake too much. It believed the outcome would still remain the same.
“Die?” Lu Xuan descended as if he was walking down a flight of invisible stairs.
As the man was getting closer to the beast, he activated the Delusion-breaker Eye to analyze it. The first thing he saw was the lost souls surrounding the beast. Even though they were small in size, he could feel the enormous energy they were giving by coming together.
The Lightning-Winged Wolf King had a method to control that power, to harness all of that energy for himself. It reflected a legend passed down from generation to generation, a story about the ghosts of those devoured by a tiger.
Legend had it that when a tiger ate someone, the person’s soul would become its slave.
The phenomenon happening with the Lightning-Winged Wolf King was just as the legend said. The only difference was the energy was more condensed.
It made sense since the beast was much stronger than a normal tiger.
The sight only angered Lu Xuan even further. Not only were those the souls of innocent humans, but they also couldn’t achieve Nirvana even after death. It was a painful scene for him to watch.
Lu Xuan calmly said, “Your plan is to lure me out so that you can kill me, right? Well, here I am. Now, isn’t it time for you to tell me who’s planning all these, or maybe is that person too timid to even face me?” Although he seemed calm, his voice was loud enough to reach every corner of the land.
Only then did most people began to realize that the war was actually part of a larger conspiracy.
It seemed that the Lightning-Winged Wolf God to be a tool instead of the shot-caller.
The people of Earth could not hold their anger in any longer. Some people even began to curse the person who’d planned everything.
Lu Xuan briefly scanned his surroundings and still could not find the person in question.
When the Lightning-Winged Wolf King noticed Lu Xuan looking around as if he was searching for something, it grew furious; as the latter’s action meant that he never thought of the former as a threat.
“How dare you ignore me! Are you looking down on me?” The beast roared, making it seem almost like a human.
“Indeed I am. What can you do about it?” Lu Xuan scoffed, proving that the beast was proper.
The monster kings never posed any threat to Lu Xuan. They were nothing more than ants to him. Thus, he never paid any attention to the clash he was about to have with them.
The Lightning-Winged Wolf King overestimated its own strength and underestimated Lu Xuan’s.
Lu Xuan had slain countless beings on the beast’s level in his past life, which was the main reason why its overwhelming strength did not affect him.
The Lightning-Winged Wolf King laughed out of anger as it said, “Is that so?” As it swept its wings, thunder roared as a streak of lightning struck where Lu Xuan was floating.

It happened right in front of everyone, who had grown anxious about Lu Xuan’s safety after such an attack.

Before the viewers could react, the Lightning-Winged Wolf King was already charging towards Lu Xuan at an astounding speed.

The punch turned into an aura in the shape of a dragon claw, grabbing the beast and holding it in place.
