Chapter 853: Consolidation Realm Cultivator Approaching
With the cultivators from the Tempest Ocean Realm either being captured or killed, Earth was once again at peace.
Even though everyone still knew that those in the Ancient City on the moon were still watching Earth and waiting patiently for a chance to strike, none of the humans were worried; these intruders would not risk invading Earth unless necessary.
The reason was simple. Descending to Earth was way too dangerous for them as long as the planet had a terrifying monster guarding it.
Many people were involved in the destruction of the formation eye to open a hole in the barrier only to end up instantly killed by Lu Xuan. He didn’t even give them a chance to strike a deal with him.
Life on Earth finally returned to a state of peace. With Lu Xuan protecting the planet now, not a single soul from the Tempest Ocean Realm dared to launch an attack.
Months had passed since then.
On a peaceful day, two immense energy pierced through the cloud from Yunxuan Villa.
Lu Xuan, who was enjoying his tea in the villa, opened his eyes and smiled. The two energies belonged to Yun Ling’er and Liu Wanrong, who had both managed to awaken their second flower after a few months of cultivation. Just like Lu Xuan, they chose to gather the Essence Flower.
If they continued at that pace, it would’ve taken no more than two years for them to gather their third flower: the Spirit Flower.
Within five years, they would be able to ascend to the Consolidation Realm.
When that happened, the only thing holding them back would not be their own cultivation levels, but the limitations of Earth; the planet’s law would not allow its inhabitants to reach the Consolidation Realm.
It would’ve almost been impossible to go against the laws of a planet. Even Lu Xuan had to use every method he could to succeed.
That was why Lu Xuan’s plan for them was to establish a good base and continue to strengthen their cultivations until the law of the planet allowed them to break into the Consolidation Realm. When that happened, they would be able to achieve the next level at any given moment.
Just as Lu Xuan was going through his plans once again, he suddenly felt something and raised his head to look up into the sky. It felt as if someone was spying on him past the void.
Liu Wanrong, who’d just awakened her second flower, ran out and asked, “What’s happening, son?”
She also felt the same thing as her son did.
“Master, I can feel someone powerful looking at us. His energy is so intense that it can be felt all around the world!” Even Yun Ling’er felt the presence too.
Lu Xuan nodded and said, “You’re right. The person that’s watching is on another level. He’s definitely in the Consolidation Realm.”
The man was sure of his deduction as only someone in the Consolidation Realm could produce such a powerful pressure that could be felt thousands of miles away.
“What? The Consolidation Realm?” Liu Wanrong’s expression changed immediately, knowing how powerful one in the Consolidation Realm could be.
Even though those in the Three Flower Realm were considered the best of the best, they were mere ants compared to those who were in the Consolidation Realm.
Even the mighty Tempest Ocean Realm only had the Five Consolidation of the Four Holy Lands.
If such a vast world could only produce five Consolidation Realm cultivators, it just showed the challenge one had to overcome to reach such a level.
Liu Wanrong’s worried reaction when she realized they were being watched by a Consolidation Realm cultivator was completely to be expected.
Lu Xuan calmly said, “Don’t worry. He can’t descend to Earth, at least for now.”
Since the barrier was still up, Lu Xuan was confident that even a cultivator in the Consolidation Realm could not enter.
Even if they could, their power would be consumed by the planet to the point where even Lu Xuan could easily defeat them.
In reality, Lu Xuan genuinely hoped that the Consolidation Realm cultivators would just invade Earth now and give him the chance to wipe all of them out.
Liu Wanrong and Yun Ling’er calmed down after being reminded that the barrier was still up.

Lu Xuan saw a middle-aged yet good-looking man in a fiery red robe floating outside the barrier.
Others might’ve not known who the man was, but Lu Xuan knew him very well.
The middle-aged man was none other than Li Shou, vice-leader of the Xuanhuo Sect and one of the Four Holy Land’s Five Consolidations.
Li Shou was also the first Consolidation Realm cultivator Lu Xuan had killed in his past life. During that lifetime, Lu Xuan was being pursued by Li Shou to the corner of Earth. Fortunately for the former, he was able to break past his limits and reached the Consolidation Realm.

Among all of the cultivators in the Tempest Ocean Realm, Li Shou was one of the younger Consolidation Realm cultivators, just a few years older than Lin Ziyi.
In terms of raw power, he fell way behind the leader of Holy Nun Gate, but he was still an actual Consolidation Realm cultivator, someone who was still too powerful for Lu Xuan to deal with.
Despite the difference in strength, Lu Xuan wasn’t afraid of someone who’d lost to him in his previous life. The main reason he was confident enough to stand in front of Li Shou now was that Earth did not allow any Consolidation Realm cultivator to descend.
No matter how powerful Li Shou was, he would’ve never stood a chance against the law of a planet.
