The one who was clashing with Lin Ziyi’s energy was none other than the vice-leader of Xuanhuo Sect, Li Shou.
The other person, who was a tall old man dressed in a luxurious robe, was another one of Lu Xuan’s acquaintances, Xiaoyao Hou.
Nobody would’ve ever believed that the old rich-looking man was actually the famous Xiaoyao Hou just from his look alone.
“Lin Ziyi! Aren’t you going too far with this?” Li Shou scolded.
Lin Ziyi scoffed, “What do you mean I’m going too far? Xiaoyao Hou tried to kill me once, and everyone knows that. Is there anything wrong for me to seek revenge?”
Lin Ziyi refused to back down even when she was facing Li Shou. Any other person would’ve trembled as soon as they saw Li Shou and Xiaoyao Hou.
However, as a Consolidation Realm cultivator herself, there was no way she could show any signs of weakness in front of him.
Lin Ziyi calmly said, “Besides, you should know by now that I’ve done worse things than this.”
After she’d reached the Consolidation Realm, she had done plenty of unforgivable things, but no one dared to challenge her because of her power and standing.

She finally said, “I’m going to kill him today, and no one can stop me!”

Lin Ziyi laughed. “Are you serious? I might hold back a little if your leader is here, but what makes you think that you alone are not enough to stop me? Besides, didn’t you bring this piece of trash here so that I can kill him? Just think of it as you doing me a favor.”
Li Shou’s face was completely red from anger. Wherever he went, people always treated him with respect. Even the people from the other Holy Land would show him respect as well.
Even if he weren’t a Consolidation Realm cultivator, being the vice-leader of the Xuanhuo Sect would make others fear him as well.
He never thought that he would have to face Lin Ziyi, who never bore any good feelings towards the Xuanhuo Sect. Lin Ziyi and the Holy Nun Gate were the obstacles preventing the Xuanhuo Sect from taking over the whole realm.

The leader has ordered me to bring Xiaoyao Hou here so that he can settle his score with Lu Xuan! You have no right to stop us! Do you want our leader to come here instead?”
Lin Ziyi laughed again. “Do you think that would work on me? I wouldn’t move from my spot even if he was here!”
As the strongest of the Five Consolidations, most people would’ve feared the leader of the Xuanhuo Sect, but not Lin Ziyi.
The reason was simple. Since she’d been locking herself up in the Holy Nun gate, she had plenty of time to prepare for anything. The formations that she had erect all around her home would give her an advantage over the leader of the Xuanhuo Sect.

Because of that, she wasn’t afraid of the Xuanhuo Sect even if they were to invade.
“Since I’m at the center of this matter, I believe I should say something, right?” Seeing that Lin Ziyi and Li Shou weren’t going to step down, Lu Xuan decided to speak up.
Everyone shifted their attention to him immediately.

Believing that Lu Xuan was speaking out of fear, Lin Ziyi said, “Mr. Lu, don’t worry. As long as I’m here, they won’t be able to do anything to you! Even if they are here to settle the scores between you and Xiaoyao Hou, I believe my feud with him comes first.”
Lu Xuan smiled and replied, “You’re wrong. I’m not afraid of them. Since they are here, there’s no way I would just sit back and watch, right? If Li Shou were to join the fight, then that’s another matter. I ain’t afraid of just Xiaoyao Hou.”
After saying that, even Lin Ziyi was shocked. Even though she was acting as if she could defeat Xiaoyao Hou, she still had to be wary of him.
Xiaoyao Hou was definitely at the peak of the Three Flower Realm. It wouldn’t have been an exaggeration for her to say that he was the strongest she’d ever seen.
