The Palace City stood out from the deserted wilderness of the deep-sea monsters’ realm. It was surreal to witness this place of civilization in this realm.
However, compared to what Lu Xuan had witnessed in his past life, the current Jiao Dragon Palace could not compare in scale. Despite this, the palace remained as heavily guarded as he remembered.
Large, fearsome deep-sea monsters stood in an orderly line like soldiers before the entrance of the palace, each patrolling the palace grounds. There were no blind spots to sneak in through.

In the blink of an eye, Lu Xuan was teleported from his location to the courtyard of the Jiao Dragon Palace. In another blink, he reappeared within the palace grounds.
Somewhere beyond the palace grounds, a fearsome Consolidation Realm monster snapped its eyes open. The creature had instinctively detected someone’s presence; yet as it looked around its surroundings, it could see no other life-form. Assured by this observation, the creature stretched and returned to its rest.
The interior of the Jiao Dragon Palace was a world away from the wilderness of the realm. The palace was splendorous, with intricate layers of floors and staircases, and detailed portraits carved into the columns of the palace, it was a grandiose display of opulence.
Servants and soldiers moved around the palace. Despite their human-like silhouette, all of them appeared to have the features of fearsome monsters.
Lu Xuan watched his surroundings casually. The creatures around him were all above the low level of the Divine Transformation Realm, and some were clearly leaders of their clan who at the very least had the ability of the Three Flower Realm.
However, Lu Xuan sensed a greater danger within the secluded areas of the palace. He had picked up the presence of powerful entities. Although they had concealed their presence, they were unable to hide from Lu Xuan.
“The Jiao Dragon Palace is a tricky place. Though it is nothing compared to the member of the trinity it will be in a few hundred years,” Lu Xuan silently commented in awe. “But I don’t doubt that the level it is at now will already be capable of conquering the human world.”
The prolonged lifespan of the Dragon clans could have been one of the reasons the Jiao Dragon Palace held back their invasion by a few hundred years, despite their current state of power. However, the powerful XuanHuo Sect Leader and the Demonic Deity of the North may have played a part in the delay too.
The Northern Demonic Sect must be equally, if not more, powerful than the Jiao Dragon Palace. Hence the palace decided to stay low and conceal its ambition to take control over the Tempest Ocean Realm.
Lu Xuan activated the ability of the Immortal Divine Tortoise to disguise himself. Fortunately, his arrival was not noticed by the guards and the servants.
Nevertheless, as the Jiao Dragon King remained his main enemy, Lu Xuan must move carefully through the palace to avoid him. To his surprise, his careful investigations revealed that the Jiao Dragon King was not in the palace.
The palace was peaceful. It was unbelievable that Lu Xuan was able to enter the palace without alerting the wall of guards outside.
Ahead of him, a line of servants who served the monster clan chiefs walked past.
“Activating Heaven and Earth Sleeve Magic”. With a wave of his hand, Lu Xuan sent the line of servants away.
When the servants reappeared, they were in the Sky Ocean Secret Realm. Before the servants were able to get their bearings, they were struck unconscious by the gigantic tail of the Deep Sea Poison Jiao Dragon who had been protecting the Sky Ocean Secret Realm.
Normal ranked monsters like them could not block its attack.
But Lu Xuan was not done with the servants yet. He activated his mind-reading ability and reached into their minds to pry for information about the palace.
Within seconds, he learned about the location of the treasury. Upon doing so, he nonchalantly threw the bodies of the servants to the Jiao Dragon as a thank you treat. The Jiao Dragon enjoyed its meal greatly.
Summoning the Chaos Heaven Stabilizer Bell again, Lu Xuan traversed through the realms before arriving at the Jiao Dragon Palace treasury without a sound. In a split second, Lu Xuan teleported himself into the treasury.
However, as Lu Xuan stepped into the treasury, his sixth sense alerted to him that he was not alone. A foreboding presence has set its sights on him.
Crouching within the treasury was a titanic deep-sea monster.
The change in atmosphere due to Lu Xuan’s teleportation must have caught the attention of this creature.
Not another fearsome monster!
The monster instinctively posed for a growl to alert the others in the palace, but before it could do so, a bright golden ray launched towards it at lightning speed.

Before the monster could react to the frightening speed, the golden light had sliced into its skull, splitting it into halves.

“Lucky you,” Lu Xuan laughed. “This is the good stuff. Eating more of this will help you with your transformation.” This was the body of a Consolidation Realm monster and it was packed with immense energy and mana.
For someone like Lu Xuan, the carcass would have to be eaten over the course of years for it to have some utility. But for the Deep Sea Poison Jiao Dragon, this was a gift from the heavens.
The Deep Sea Poison Jiao Dragon dug into its meal immediately, chomping down the monster. With every bite, mana and energy started to seep from the Dragon’s body and wash its flesh.
For the Dragon clans, the constant washing of its flesh indicated a constant purification of its blood and soul, and it was a key to a constant gain of power.
This was its most ideal scenario.
The methods for the majority of monsters to gain power were largely similar. There was little meditation required and the focus was on the constant purification of blood and soul. This method of was much simpler than that of humans.
Lu Xuan turned back to the treasury. “Well then, I will accept these gifts graciously!”
Lu Xuan laughed loudly as he retrieved the ring of cosmos from his sleeves and activated its ability. In an instant, every treasure was transported into the Sky Ocean Secret Realm.
