A real living human, and not a human transformation adopted by another deep-sea monster.
Instantly, the overlord remembered a terrifying rumor.
Though there was little civilization within the deep sea, the existence of a deep-sea overlord would mean the ability to build a deep-sea kingdom. Even if instead of a kingdom, to be precise it was more akin to sub-clans which served the main clan.
The real mark of civilization in the Deep Sea, one that held formidable power, was the Jiao Dragon Palace.
However, communications had not been not cut off between the clans and the Jiao Dragon Palace. Creatures who had attained the top level as deep-sea overlords were able to communicate with other overlords. They exchanged information in the form of important updates and rumors.
As the deep-sea overlords were intellectual lifeforms, they would find loneliness unbearable thus they established numerous communication channels.
The latest news on these channels was the biggest one yet: the destruction of the Jiao Dragon Palace. Everyone in the palace, from the generals to soldiers, had been slaughtered.
Though this was old news from months ago, taking into account the sheer land mass of the Tempest Ocean Realm and the speed of information exchange between the deep-sea overlords, the news remained fresh to them.
Apart from this, there were rumors that there was something in the deep sea that had been hunting down the deep-sea overlords.
One after another, they were losing their lives.
Though he had hardly taken the news to heart. The slaughtering of deep-sea overlords was something they had never heard of, for it had always been the deep-sea overlords who were the ones carrying out the slaughtering.
His main concern was the rapid expansion of the Jiao Dragon Palace. In recent years there had been a consistent stream of news about deep-sea overlords subjugating others while under the rule of the Jiao Dragon Palace. Such news never ceased to agitate him.

With a bite, the creature swallowed half of the overlord’s body whole and let out a satisfied burp. It immediately chomped on the other half and swallowed that too. After it was done, the Deep Sea Poison Dragon laid down to digest the meal.
In the span of a few months, the Deep Sea Poison Jiao Dragon has swallowed close to a few hundred deep-sea overlords. Its Cultivation had been progressing at lightning speed. To be accurate, there was enough energy within to awaken and extract the Dragon bloodline within its body.

Hours after Lu Xuan had departed, a humongous creature arrived at the scene. Sensing its surroundings, it realized another deep-sea overlord had been slain.
All that was reflected on the ferocious face of the giant creature was a murderous intent.
